Americans have watched republicans over the past 28 months fight for more and continued wealth for the rich as they voted no to shared sacrifice and held the entire house hostage to prevent tax increases for millionaires and billionaires while denying programs and bills over and over again that would help sustain the middle class/poor. They repeatedly voted no to medicare, no to social security, no to healthcare, no to equal pay for women,no to the GI bill, cuts to education, no to unemployment extensions, no to job creation bill after job creation bill, doing away with unions and planned parenthood while suppressing, blocking and purging our votes (our democracy). Their blatant disregard for the truth has put the integrity and morality of our great nation at the edge of a cliff. They have race baited, incited hate so alarming that it should be of concern to EVERY American. Now they do an endzone dance and spike the football because the economy only added 69,000 jobs in the month of May creeping unemployment back to 8.2%. This shows that the republican party is heavily invested in the failure of America and the American people, and for what? THEIR POWER GRAB! Will Americans not require accountability? Will Americans just reward outright betrayal, and hand power over to a party that have blatantly showed they could care less about them? Hand policy making power to a party that have rubbed in the faces of the American people that they only care about the well being of the wealthiest among them? The real question is, will Americans reward republicans for this behavior or will they stand on moral ground and let them know this is not acceptable and that it goes against everything our great nation stands for? Or will selective amnesia be the very thing to push us off of the cliff? Think long and hard America. The real facts are right in front of our face. The election in November should NOT be a difficult decision at all. Republicans want to take their country BACK. Democrats want to take their country FORWARD. Hate (R) vs. Hope (D). Rich (R) vs. Middle class/poor (D). Truth (D) vs. Deception (R). Democracy (D) or Dictatorship (R). If we truly are "One Nation Under God, Indivisible with Liberty and justice for ALL." God is not interested in our reputation. Your reputation is only who people think you are. He is interested in our character. Your character is who you really are. The republican party and their base have depicted the poorest in character and represent the worst America has to offer. Just ask yourself on 11/06/2012 when you step in that voting booth (if republican voter suppression haven’t prevented it) “Will I reward betrayal with my vote?”

And after that horrible Citizens United decision, the Repugnant Thugs have plenty of money to buy ad time.
And all that ignorance means that many citizens are easily manipulated by demagogues, as the existence of America's Vast Right Wing Herd so aptly demonstrates.
My hope is those people will wake the eff up before 80% of the country crosses the poverty line.
Thing is that both parties have fundamental disagreements on the best way to move the nation forward. Thats what we're seeing in practice. This thread is nothing more than a partisan and biased take on the opinions of the other side. Is the same BS we've been dealing with for awhile now.
There should be disagreement but respect on both sides. More and more all we see is hate and demonization of someone elses opinions as motivated by evil.
Frankly I'm tired of it. If Obama was supposed to "change" the tone he failed. His supporters are certainly failing him.

The voting machines sold to ohio by dibold did not allow for a paper trail making it impossible to verify the votes. For years TV Networks used exit polls to predict a winner. They were pretty accurate. The Ohio exit polls said Kerry would win the state handily. The dibold voting machines said Bush had won.

Millionaires and billionaires pay their fair share and quit getting enormous unpaid for tax cuts on the backs of the middle class/poor which actually increases the deficit.
To protect clean air and water and keep regulations in place that would let all the people bankrolling Mitt Romney want to pollute IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!
Women to be able to make their own decisions about their bodies and health and not be discriminated against by health insurance providers and their employers.
Fair elections where "We The People" actually elect their government and untold sums of cash from clandestine sources aren't allowed to flow in putting democracy on the auction block.
No more unpaid for wars to award lucrative contracts to cronies.
To protect Social Security and Medicare for seniors who've worked all their lives and expect it to be there for them when they need it.

To vastly improve this nations crumbling infrastructure which will raise productivity and efficiency as well as put millions of people back to work with good paying living wage jobs.
This is just a short list, but.... REPUBLICANS AND MITT ROMNEY WANT THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF ALL THIS!!!
Can you understand now? Hopefully I cut it up in to little bite sized pieces just like you mother used to do your food for you when you were a toddler so you could ingest it much easier.
We had Romney in Massachusetts. By the time he was through after 4 years, we had dropped to 47th in job creation, he created over $250,000,000 in new fees for services, and added one billion dollars to our deficit. Sure, vote for Romney and he'll do the same thing for the whole country.
