It is pretty obvious that Latinos will be very important during this upcoming elections. You would not know this from listening to Republicans say stuff like, "Spanish is the language of the ghetto" or "let's teach inner city children the value of work that they don't learn from their parents". The rejection from the Republican candidates towards Latinos is so bad that I don't think they will recover from their obviously racist attitude.

Now, they figure that if they put Marco Rubio in the ticket as a vice presidential candidate that Latinos will get all exited and will vote for the Republican party during the upcoming presidential election. As a Latino I see this as a slap on my face. They have rejected me and my people, looking down on us, and now they figure that we will be stupid enough to vote for them because they put a Latino in the ticket? What are we stupid? Besides, Marco Rubio is considered to be a traidor by many Latinos already. He will do anything to please the extreme rights quest for a pure pedigree, so aside from some Cubans in Miami, most Latinos do not like him.

I think this "token" candidate tactic will not work. What do you think?

By the way, most Republican conservatives (at least by my hunch) like Rubio because he's a solid conservative with good values and principles. Not because he's Hispanic.

You see, we don't harp and dwell on race that much. That's one of the things that sets us apart from you liberals.

For a bunch of people who claim to be more sensitive to race than anyone else, you guys sure do make a big point out of noticing and identifying people's skin color.

That's because to you, anyone who's a conservative Republican who's also black, Hispanic, and/or a woman is "token" to you.

He's going to be on the 2016 ticket, probably for president and he will win, but not because of the Hispanic vote. Most of the Hispanics I know, and I know a bunch of them, are frothing at the mouth, rabid DEMs.

Yes, I have extensive family, friends and neighbors who admire him. Republicans want you to succeed, Democrats want you to stay angry at those that do succeed. My best friend owns seven restaurants here and works his a$$ off. He's came here legally from Mexico twelve years ago. VIVA America!

He's a republican and so am I. We are both business owners who love being successful and don't envy the rich. I applaud them if they get their money honestly. That's what America is about, opportunity. People come here from foreign countries and become wealthy because they understand we are the land of the free and hard work pays off.

Rubio would be doing himself a great disservice by sitting as a VP under a clown like West. I don't agree with Rubio's politics, but as far as Republicans go, he's one of the better ones. Were he running as Romney's VP, Obama would have reason to worry, that's for sure.

No, It's true. I don't care if he's a friggin rainbow. I judge by character not color and Allen West has good character. Obama used his black half to deceive Americans. He never lived in a poor area, never had to really work or go to war. He's a faux POTUS. West is the real deal.
