Will Obama Protect and Defend the US Constitution?

Obama had to use 2 Bibles for his public Oath of Office, one belonging to President Lincoln and the other belonging to MLK, apparently one bible was not enough. He said these words on Sunday using Michelle's family bible:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the
office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my
ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United

So the question is WILL HE? or will he continue his current path...

He is like an actor just reading the script. He says all kinds of #$^* that he doesn't mean. He lies.

I had to flinch at watching that farce again. Obama has no intention of defending our Constitution. His policies have thus far ignored our first and second amendment rights. He will bend twist and trample on the Constitution.

Perhaps you may have noticed his attempts to go around the constitution with executive orders. Perhaps you may have noticed that no one in Washington has the balls to stand up to him in regard to that activity.

Reagan ans Bush Sr and other Republican Presidents past gun control laws and previous presidents have had many events occur while they were in office that they would love to make disappear.

He has surrounded himself with a large number of smart people who can write executive orders and by-pass congress. That's not exactly legal but the congress we elected doesn't seem to have the cojones to take hold of the situation and make people in Washington abide by the law.

Liberals reject rule of law unless and until the law is distorted to serve the liberal agenda. Then that de novo law becomes the precedent for the entire future of America period the end amen.

Other than wiping his arse with it, he will not protect it. He will continue to destroy it with the help of the left, a weak Republican Party and a Judiciary that has stopped calling balls and strikes and gone to an American Idol approach of popularity.

Well, I think he is certainly doing what he thinks is "right." AND if you voted "no" because you think the GOP is better, then that is disturbingly wrong. Both parties are not really looking out for the individuals interest. They all work for corporations and the wealthy donors.

This subject matter just makes me sick, just think, we are discussing a U.S. president and questioning, "will he honor the American Constitution"?

Does anybody ever remember a president having questions asked about him like this?

No, and we have liberal left-winged idiots that think he’s the messiah.

God help us. Please deliver us from this man.
  • sbtbill OneLast... 2013/01/24 19:28:28
The same questions were asked regarding Lincoln, FDR, Eisenhower, LBJ, and Reagan. Bush was accused of violating many laws.
  • OneLast... sbtbill 2013/01/25 15:03:20 (edited)
But most if not all of these presidents you mention did not want laws that would directly violate the BASIC rights of the American people and were connected to the BASIC Constitutional rights.

Laws that would be group punishment for most Americans, like Gun Control, (soon, complete elimination) Freedom of Speech (soon, controlling the internet and news)

Many Americans fear both of these are coming to American neighborhoods soon,… because of this man and his radical W.H.

    Yes as he interprets it
The key words are as he interprets it. As most of you realize there is much certainty and little agreement about what the Constitution says. It is my belief that, that has been the case since 1788. (Yes I know it was ratified in 1789.) It probably wouldn't have been ratified if that were not so.

The Constitution is a political document created as a result of compromise. It includes many conflicting ideas because the various regions even in 1789 had differing needs and goals. Worse, yet language evolves. Words change meaning, concepts change and are lost.

I leave you this in hopes everyone will have a gay old time this coming weekend.

So Far , he has ruled like a DICTATOR by-passing the House & Senate . I don't expect that to change in his second term either .
His CORRUPTION knows no bounds . Below is a link to a pivotal point in the Obama Time Line ( on his WAR on the 2nd. Amendment )

    April 16, 2009

Says "90% of guns recovered in Mexico come from U.S."

His 90% Figure turned out to be a bold face lie ! This was proven to be Propaganda but the MSM picked it up Boosting Obama's Claims ( even though it was a lie ) . The REAL number was about 10% .
He ( Obama ) used this bogus claim to start Fast & Furious selling 2000 - 2500 weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels ( with the blessing of Holder and the D.O.J. ) in an effort to prove His Original LIE , True !
    2 U.S. agents murdered + 300 ++++ Mexicans DEAD ............. to prove his lie was true !

No, he has not so far
Obama doesn't even know what the Constitution is!!!!
Well of course he wont defend it. Duh!
The last four years he tried to dismantle it.
    Why should anything change now!?
Of course he promised change before his first all out assault on America in 2008, but The only thing that changed was Michelle spent more money on clothes , and shoes, vacations to everywhere but the Antarctica, and money on restaurants, fashion designers, etc. than any FLOTUS before her
