WILL MSNBC EVER CLIMB OUT OF THE TOILET? MSNBC OFFENDS AGAIN, PANELIST CALLS GROVER NORQUIST ‘GRINGRICH’S BUTT-BUDDY’

Another classy moment happened over on MSNBC this afternoon. During a segment on Dylan Ratigan’s Show, former White House advisor to Joe Biden, Jared Bernstein was talking about the economy when panelist and “DC Insider” (Ratigan’s term for him) Jimmy Williams let loose with a string of charges against Grover Norquist.

“One person is controlling the agenda of the United States of America and his name is Grover Norquist. Grover Norquist was Newt Gingrich’s butt-buddy, he was Jack Abramoff’s close friend, he laundered money from Native Americans, he charged people $25,000 a pop to go to a Bush White House signing ceremony. He’s a petty criminal and made just about every single member of the House Representatives on the Republican, not the Tea Party, the Republican side and almost all Republican Senators sign a pledge saying they will never ever, for the rest of their lives, raise taxes. I need to know, first of all, do we on the Left have a Grover Norquist?”

Aside from calling Norquist a criminal, Williams also makes a vulgar reference to Norquist’s relationship with Newt Gingrich.

It was less than a month ago that MSNBC had to indefinitely suspend another network contributor when Time Magazine’s Mark Halperin used an offensive term to describe the President.

Mr. Williams’ choice of words might be considered a homophobic gay slur in some circles and yet, it did not elicit a single response from host Ratigan or anyone on the panel.

I must ask the question of Jimmy Williams… If Grover Norquist is such an awful human being, why is Mr. Williams so interested in having “one on the Left?”
