Kathleen Sibelius is the one who began this whole charade when she announced on Pelosi's surprises that was hidden in 0bozocare.
Then came the LSM with abortion questions at the GOP debates, then Sandra the Flucking campus trophy, and it has gone downhill from there.
    They're still losing.

Marxists are the ones which require women to work as good party members and let the state raise their children.

Mitt and Ann Romney are nothing more than the quintessential entitled "everyone not rich is beneath me" people. So being a stay at home mom is just fine when you have a rich vulture capitalist husband who's putting more people out of work and on welfare to ridicule because they've become stay at home moms. The hypocrisy is so think you can cut it with a knife.

Hillary Rosen was absolutely right, Ann Romney couldn't be further out of touch with what a middle/working class, at or below poverty line stay at home mom goes through!

Stop packing Mitt, the White House doesn't need car elevators.

The wealthy are the ones that keep the economy going. They create jobs. It certainly isn't the poor that do it. Most wealthy people worked hard for their money. I have known people from all walks of life and i have found the ones that were well off to be the most compassionate and generous. Having kids with no fathers and being on welfare is what keeps women down. In case your wondering, I'am a woman, poor and voting for Mitt because i want to see the change that Obama didnt make happen.
  • Proggy my2cent... 2012/04/19 05:31:44
Wrong! The middle/working class and working poor better known as the consuming class is who "create jobs". All middle/working class and working poor people are working their ass off for their money too. Try being a hotel maid/custodian for a day on what they get paid. People are fed up and simply want FAIRNESS! They don't mind working their asses off to make someone else uber wealthy but they want the same damn thing for them and theirs that Mr. CEO and Chairman want. Adequate living, with some of life's simple pleasures, for their children to be adequately educated and have a chance at doing better and going farther than themselves. But for republicans that's just asking for too damn much.
  • my2cent... Proggy 2012/04/24 03:31:38
They work at the jobs created by the wealthy. Yes they work their butts off too and should be payed a fair salary for their service. Is it the fault of the wealthy if you choose to be a hotel maid instead of a doctor? Are you saying the wealthy should pay for private schools for their children? Last i knew education was free. Hey if you want those extra simple pleasures you work an extra job.

its your understanding of the economy that's screwed up, Proggy.

    this is basic macroeconomics.

you think, evidently, there is some part of the economy that determines who has too much and who has too little. oh. no. wait. that's what you want the gov't to do.

life isn't fair. calm down and improve yourself. maybe someday you can compete, too.

don't let your wishful belief in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny run up against the reality of economics.

    economics will win every time.

counting on your masters to take from those that have to give to those that need is the hallmark of marxist communism.

skip it. you're trying to sell class warfare. unemployment at roughly 10% (probably closer to 12%) is not sustainable, economically or politically, either. if the economy were functional, nobody would care because the 97% of us that would be employed would be working our asses off to earn more.

under these boobs, whining about what other have might be emotionally satisfying, but is economically hopeless.

you do compete. whether you admit it or not. if you go to work, for whatever your motivation, you're stoking the economic engine, too. if you stayed home, maybe your job could go to someone else. why not try that for about 6 months and see how well you're doing then. see how baleful and reprobate you, too, can become.

    yeah, yeah yeah...

now, now. its not like that, even if your masters convinced you otherwise.

its not greed killing anything. its Obama killing capital however he can and wherever he finds it.

don't be jealous. how's that econ 101 textbook going? it'll all become clear to you when you read "The Road To Serfdom'.
  • my2cent... Proggy 2012/05/02 00:38:40
I would say its Marxist communism too. What kind of fellow countrymen do you think should be helped by the working mans tax dollar? Suzie who has 5 kids by 5 different men? The alcoholics and drug addicts who are not monitored and take their welfare or dissabilty check and spend it on guess what, more alcohol and drugs. What about the people who fake it to get dissabilty. They have bad backs but you'll see them doing all kinds of things that you could not do if you truly had one. The list is endless i see it all the time.
  • my2cent... Proggy 2012/05/02 00:19:07
I have been in the same line of work as the hotel maid but i didnt have a rolling cart to push onto an elevator to go to the next floor. I had to run up and down the stairs carrying buckets of water, vaccum cleaners and supplies. So i know what its like. I'am still poor but i do not blame the rich. They are people who spent thousands of dollars and years on their education. They worked hard to get what they have. They are being taxed to the max to take care of half the country that doesnt pay any. Now is that fair ?! I didnt say that you said a hotel maid should get payed like a doctor. No i do not consider electricity and water one of lifes simple pleasures. They're necessities of course. I would put that under adequate. Simples pleasures are extras. Its not a matter of whether they deserve a vacation or not. Its a matter of can they afford it. The well to do are not the reason for America falling behind.
Stop the democratic whine. .........A Democrat turned Republican
  • beavith1 Proggy 2012/04/26 03:12:03
if you repeat it enough, it still doesn't make it so.

Obama wants to sell 'fairness' even though it means only what HE wants it to mean.

work harder. don't be jealous of those that have.

its a reality that you choose to not embrace.

(shrug) live in your gumdrop and candy cane world, then.

its not illegal to take the deductions allowed by the IRS. you are legally required to pay every penny that you are liable for, to the IRS. but not a penny more. reaching that minimum dollar figure is called 'tax avoidance' and is perfectly legal.

paying one penny less than your liability is called 'tax evasion' and is illegal and probably will bring the IRS down on you like a ton of bricks.

big difference, if you can only harness your hate for a minute, maybe you can see it too.

i will agree with you that the tax code is broken, but it hardly favors the wealthy any more than life favors the hard worker or the lucky. at some point even you must realize that blaming others isn't particularly productive.

what next? you guys will start singling out the lucky for special treatment? you'll break the chops of the hard worker?
  • Proggy beavith1 2012/04/27 04:27:54
Dude when in the past 30 years the average income of the top 1% of earners have gone up 300% to that of the 99% which have only seen an increase of 38%, the tax code favors the rich. I don't know if you are rich, or like me trying to get rich. But c'mon from debating you, I know you're more intelligent that to really believe that.

The only "blame" is being placed where it lies, with our policy makers who've caused this debacle. America is a plutocracy and right-wing supply-side economics (Reaganomics) is the culprit. Here is a NON-PARTISAN article that explains it well.

You'll find the President is right, a balanced approach is the way forward, and we need to make cuts with a scalpel not a chainsaw like he Ryan/Romney budget wants to do (on the backs of the working class and poor of course).
  • beavith1 Proggy 2012/04/27 05:45:57
    STOP! you're being played!

the tax code is busted. its creaking under its own weight.

if you don't have a lot of assets, you don't get to play.

the article has some valid points, but the author comes in with some preconceived notions and tries to defend them.

i'd be OK with repealing the Bush tax cuts, for everyone, but the reality is that without serious cuts, first, the current morons in charge have no incentive to cut spending and every incentive to spend more. if the democrats had come out with big cuts now, and tax increases later, and followed through, they'd probably garner a lot of republican support.

problem is Obama/democrats wanted huge tax increases up front and potential spending reductions WAY later.

only a retard would propose that. only a retard would accept it.

Obama is correct over the long term. unfortunately, he can only live in the moment where he demands tax increases now for spending cuts way later. didn't i say that was retarded?

cut with a scalpel? your metaphor is wrong. giving him and the democrats more money is like giving crack to a crackhead. he's got to come clean first.

    he won't.
  • ehrhornp 2012/04/17 03:01:59
I don't believe most women want to be treated like children although republican women probably do. Sad that they cannot run their own lives but need government to take care of them.
  • my2cent... ehrhornp 2012/04/19 01:05:02
Are you saying the government only takes care of republican women?
  • ehrhornp my2cent... 2012/04/19 03:14:30
lol, I am saying it is probably only republican women who need this help. Most other women can run their own lives. And it is not the wealthy that keeps the economy going. The wealthy would not be wealthy if there was no government support to allow them to make the products or would they be wealthy if there were no one around who could afford to buy their products,

I am not a big fan of government but I at least realize that they do play a role, a major role in our economy. Hopefully some day you will realize it too.
  • my2cent... ehrhornp 2012/04/24 03:37:29
Your saying republican women want to be treated like children and need the government to take care of them. Absurd!
  • ehrhornp my2cent... 2012/04/24 03:41:04
Well prove me wrong. If they need the government to tell them what medical procedures to have, what birth control to take, sure sounds like being taken care of to me.
  • my2cent... ehrhornp 2012/04/24 03:54:55
What birth control and medical procedures are you speaking of?
  • ehrhornp my2cent... 2012/04/24 03:59:00
Read the press once in awhile. Look at the bills that they passed in Vagina and other states. Georgia tried to pass a bill which Mitt came out in favor of involving personhood at conception. The citizens there soundly defeated it. Go on Rachel Madow's web site and you can find lots of info there. I know, she is a pinko commie. Well I would be interested if you could really disprove her.
  • Uranos7 ehrhornp 2012/04/25 07:17:44
Sounds to me democratic women are the ones that want the government to take care of them and treat them like children.
They want free healthcare, free housing, free food, and now free contraception and abortions. But they are against making choices in how to invest for retirement.
Republican women want to make these choices for themselves and provide for them themselves. They would also like to either have a job or have a husband with a good enough job that they can afford to stay home with the children, not have money handed to them.
  • ehrhornp Uranos7 2012/04/25 19:24:41
No they don't want free healthcare, they just don't want to be ripped off for it. Universal health, single payer is the most efficient way to provide coverage. No need to mention that phony conservatives are never interested in efficiency, only in profits for their buddies.

The cultural wars were settled long ago and it is insanity to try to go back to a period where women are seen but not heard and exist only to serve their man and have babies.

When republican women marry a rich republican what happens? They get money handed to them.
  • Uranos7 ehrhornp 2012/04/25 19:44:41
Medicare, planned parenthood, well women programs, are all free healthcare 2 out of 3 for women only, and always top democratic to do list.
2 out of 3 provide free abortions and liberals are always trying to expand who and what kind they cover.
As I said republican women want to make the choice for themselves, your the one type casting here and obviously the sexist if you believe republican women want that.
All republican men are rich? Darn my check must have gotten lost in the mail.
If you look at the map the blue democratic states are the richer more urban and influential states. The red republican states are more agricultural and rural. hence democrats have more rich fat cats than republicans and if you look at the net worth of congress the democrats are richer than the republicans. The rich republican thing is a smoke screen by the democrats to fool the masses and keep them from seeing that the democrats are truly the rich guys looking out for themselves.
    red vs blue
  • ehrhornp Uranos7 2012/04/25 20:34:54
You might want to consider why the blue states are richer. They for the most part believe in raising the standard of living for everyone as opposed to just the top 1%. The republican states tend to be the less educated and tend to be the more holy rollers.
  • Uranos7 ehrhornp 2012/04/25 21:04:19
The blue states are more industrial and technological; where the red states are more agricultural. You insult farmers saying they are uneducated and therefore not able to think for themselves.
    Wow, you are a bigot.
  • beavith1 Uranos7 2012/04/26 03:17:14 (edited)

Well when they support republicans they show themselves as the country hicks they are. This is especially true with the republicans trying to do away with the post office. Good luck rural America getting your mail at the current postage rates.
