I have a lot of issues with populist uprisings; supporting them seems to be a feel good policy only--why is that? Because they tend not to work. Throughout history revolutions have resulted in a worsening of the situation rather than an improvement.

+1They'll get a new version of their choice? You do realize that the military is starting to rip apart the new government right?reply - Wild Dog 2012/06/17 23:56:14UndecidedIt doesn't look good ,at this point .They're not happy with their choices ,aren't we all .These countries only know brute force to keep them in line ,and are like a bunch of tribes that never got together. I don't think they really know how to go about it after being suppresed all this time.reply

- HOMBRE 2012/06/17 19:37:35The revolution will fail.Succeed to What ? Can you say civil war and civil unrest. Poor women over there will be brutalized or murdered. What ever happen to the leftest women groups protesting the rights for women. Here they bitch about birth control and a fake war against women in the USA. Yet they say and do nothing for the middle Eastern women? You tell me?reply
- Max 2012/06/17 19:33:57The revolution will fail. The revolution has already failed, in case you haven't noticed. There has been a coup d'état in Egypt with the military dissolving the democratically elected parliament and they are in the process of rewriting the Constitution so they can have their way. The head of the military under Mubarak, Shafiq (sp), will be the new leader, whether the Egyptians like it or not. He claims he will honor the treaty that Egypt has with Israel and that would make them and the US happy.reply

+1You haven't been paying attention to the news--the new government is falling apart and the country is falling under military rule--people aren't even sure if the current elections will even matter at this point.reply - Red Pixy kir 2012/06/17 19:14:37
it doesn't matter :P at least they could kick their president awayreply -
So you have a President that didn't do a good job as being a leader but at least still people survived and now you may have a blood thirsty military leader. That's an improvement?reply - Red Pixy kir 2012/06/17 19:23:42
look i don't know a lot about that but i guess kicking the president away and make him to leave everything is something no one could do it before .reply
