I think that there is no longer anything to be gained by the Republican party to pursue this case.In my opinion I think that they achieved what they wanted and will no longer have interest in pursuing the truth.

This is far from over and rightfully so. Nixon wasn't able to suppress the tapes and ultimately had to give them up. You'll notice that talking heads including WH mouthpiece Jay Carney have been spouting about actions the oversight committee has taken back to Ronald Reagan but have selective amnesia about Nixon and wont even utter his name.

Perhaps this whole mess will come down to bringing 0bozo appointee, former Arizona US Attorney Dennis Burke back to DC and let him unravel under oath.

[Burke, from the Arizona US Attorney's office, ran Operation Fast and Furious.

This is the man who was a Majority Counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee in 1994 when the Assault Weapon Ban passed. Actually, Senator Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ) gave him and Rahm Emmanuel credit for the passing of the ban. He became Chief of Staff to Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano and worked with her from 2003-2008. He gave $2,000 to then-Senator Obama's presidential campaign. He's also given $16,350 to other Democratic candidates. When Janet Napolitano became the Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Mr. Burke became her Senior Advisor. In July 2009, President Barack Obama nominated him to be the US Attorney of Arizona.

He was confirmed six weeks later. Fast & Furious began in November 2009.

In order to receive more funding and to use high tech equipment Fast & Furious had to become part of the Department's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF), which would put it under control of the Arizona US Attorney's office.

Though his fingerprints were all over Fast & Furious, Mr. Burke was allowed to quietly resign in August 2011. He wasn’t fired or charged with anything. In fact, there is no mention of Fast & Furious or Agent Terry in his resignation letter.
In November, Mr. Burke finally came clean and admitted he leaked the documents to smear Agent Dodson. The memo was intended to cast a bad light on Agent Dodson and discredit him as a reliable witness.

A month later, the February 4 letter was officially withdrawn once the DOJ couldn’t deny the fact that the ATF did intentionally allow guns to walk. No one knows for sure why they did it. Several emails show discussions about gun control regulations.]

So..... more unanswered questions arise with every question that is thwarted.

Okay but that's not my question. My question is will Darryl Issa now get to the bottom of it? Have you seen any news that he is moving forward with the investigation? No ones even talking about it anymore.

Actually it is the NRA that is o fault for all of this crap, and you are seriously in denial if you don't understand what is actually happening there. The NRA lobbied agains any restrictive gun laws in AZ resulting in anyone over he age of 18 being able to purchase ANY amount of guns at one time and then not having a penalty for turning around and selling those guns immediately. The cartel hires these young guys by giving them cash to buy the guns (sometimes at amounts of 30 grand and then they are sold to the cartels foot soldiers and imported to Mexico. And by the way those contributions are chump change to a campaign, Try 10 million from Addleson to Romney now we are talking about favors. By the way.. hear anything lately about the republicans seeking justice for Brian Terry? Why aren't you outraged over Darryl Issa using Brian Terry for his agenda? Issa got what he wanted a contempt charge against Eric Holder. Just politics as usual.
