Hillary Clinton said in a meeting with other New York Lawmakers that she is open to being Barack Obama's Vice Presidential Nominee if it will help the Democrats in the November 2008 Presidential Election.
This came following a statement by Democratic Rep. Nydia Velazquez, who feels that in order for Obama to capture certain demographics and voting blocs, he has to choose Hillary as his running mate, but will he?

Choosing Hillary as veep would be his biggest mistake. She probably thinks if something happens to him she got the president job. Hillary is not trustworthy.

First of, Hillary still is in denial, but she sincerely wants a democratic President, so she is chillering out and going for the gusto. He will not choose her, but because he is a forgiving person, he is looking past all of the bad blood between them. Hope he gives her enough to stand on her own to prove that she means what she say, because she really gave him a run for the money that he is already given to her. If she steps out of bounds, he can always put a stop to that, after-all, he is the President of the united states of america.

Obama needs Hillary to win. Although most Hillary supporters aren't that stupid and still won't vote for him even with her as VP. I really don't think her heart is in supporting him either. I do hope he picks her though because it will really tick off his wife!! I'm a Rep. Hillary supporter voting for McCain for the sake of our country.

Bill Richardson or John Edwards (possibly). Hilary's gonna be a Supreme Ct. Nominee (or she will try to do so). Will be shocked/surprised if she's chosen as VP. I'm sure husband "Billy" is getting much better time in the bedroom with her now than in 1998--ha ha!

or should be...Hillary Clinton. There is no doubt that this job is huge and Obama is somewhat inexperienced. The areas where Hillary Clinton lacks, Obama is strong. The areas where Obama is weak, Hillary Clinton is strong. These two offices do not need bed-partners who reflect each others' rhetoric. These two offices allow our nation to have a broader governing mind, than just that of the president and his or her cronnies. Because of this odd oil and water mix, our nation will grow stronger because of the broader wisdom pool of its leaders.

Is there nobody who has more expereience than Hillary? Obama should pick somebody other than Hillary. He don't need her to win the election. He will not be happy with Hillary with Clinton in the shadows. We are tired of the Clinton's.

Obviously you did not live through the '90 when the US was not at war; gas prices were low, families could afford vacations and Bill Clinton was the last of the freely elected presidents, in the free world. A lot of our freedoms are in the crapper these days. Do you think one person, specifically Obama who does not have a lot of political cashe, will turn all this around?

Governor Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas: working-class Catholic non-Washington woman of a working-class Midwestern state who gave an excellent non-divisive response to this year's State of the Union. She shares Obama's politics and does as good of a job as anybody to bring in those voters that Obama might have trouble with.
