Will An Obama Victory Spark A Civil War In The US?

☆ QueenAline 2012/10/07 14:17:27

America is on the verge of fragmentation and civil conflict because
its citizens have lost control of their government and lost faith in its
political institutions.

Nineteenth century political satirist Ambrose Bierce once described
Washington D.C. as a strife of interests masquerading as a contest of
principles and the conduct of public affairs for private advantage.

Indeed. Not much has changed one hundred years on.

The August 27, 2012 Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just eight percent (8%) of likely voters think that the US Congress is doing a good job.

Most Americans agree that the Democrat and Republican establishments
are infested by individuals whose allegiance is not to their country,
but to themselves and their political party. Their aim is to be
unconstrained by the Constitution and the rule of law and unaccountable
to the American people. Their conduct is driven by political expediency
and winning elections for the sole purpose of obtaining power and
profit.

The US has elections, but it no longer has representative government.
The US has a free press, but one that is partisan and dishonest.

The Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists states:

Public enlightenment is the forerunner of justice and the
foundation of democracy. The duty of the journalist is to further those
ends by seeking truth and providing a fair and comprehensive account of
events and issues. Conscientious journalists from all media and
specialties strive to serve the public with thoroughness and honesty.
Professional integrity is the cornerstone of a journalist’s credibility.

The reality of American journalism bears no resemblance to that official portrait.

Most Americans agree that the mainstream media represented by ABC,
CBS, NBC, CNN, and the liberal newspapers are little more than
propaganda machines for the Democrat Party and are distorting the news
in an attempt to manipulate public opinion to support the reelection of
Barack Obama.

Few American institutions remain untouched by political corruption.

Through the blatant careerism of senior officers like the Chairman of
the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, even the American
military has been politicized to further the goals of the Obama
Administration by submitting to the agenda of radical Islam, attempting to suppress free speech, and undermining public trust in the military by allowing active duty personnel in uniform to engage in partisan politics through their participation in a gay pride parade.

The real issue of the 2012 election is the endemic corruption in the
federal government perpetrated by a permanent political class, financed
by crony capitalism and facilitated by a fawning media (“It’s the
corruption, stupid”).

They have brought us to the brink of bankruptcy, have opened our
borders to illegal immigration, and have permitted a fifth column
promoting Sharia law to infiltrate our society and judicial system.

Most Americans agree that there are anti-democratic and anti-American
forces working aggressively inside the government and country to reduce
American global influence and to promote the interests of global
financiers and ideologies hostile to the United States.

The Obama Administration is expecting reelection and expecting trouble.
It has ordered nearly one billion rounds of hollow point bullets. Hint –
that type of ammunition is not meant for target practice. The 750
million rounds ordered by Obama’s Department of Homeland Security alone
is enough ammunition for the government to fire three rounds into the
body of every living American citizen.

When the truth is eventually told, the chronicles of the Obama years
will represent the most sordid in American history and symbolize a pivot
point when self-serving politicians collaborated with a compliant press
to trigger the fall of the American republic.

If Obama wins, the American people should be prepared for economic
collapse, a full assault on Constitutional rights, societal
fragmentation, and civil strife.

There is a criminal in the White House, who is bent on a radical transformation of the country and must be removed from office if the United States is to survive.

But representative government will not return to America simply by
defeating Barack Obama. It will only return when ordinary Americans feel
empowered by their political institutions, not oppressed by them.

It's up to us America...NOVEMBER 6th...MITT ROMNEY

    Who are the opposing sides?

A civil war implies two opposing forces with the weaponry and organization to fight a war, with each side believing they have a reasonable chance at victory or stalemate.

    None of that exists.

opposing sides? You would think that we are all together on this...fact is that there are Americans who love this country, who respect and honor the Constitution, and then there are those who don't....There are people who want to FUNDAMENTALLY change this nation, and there are those who don't..Then there are people (who BHO has divided)..the rich vs the poor, the race card, and the left vs the right.....but we all know that it's not that, it's right vs wrong...

Bloody ridiculous! Do you really think so small of the American people? A civil war if Obama gets re-elected? Utter nonsense! However, I would admit there's a possiblility that the re-election of Barack Obama could setback the Democrat Party for the next forty plus years. Ironically, a Romney victory could possibly re-vitalize the Democratic party in the coming years.

Which ever candidate wins on November 6 are doomed to failure. Our immediate problems are that challenging.

I doubt it Too many are to willing to bend over and supply their own KY jelly. I don't want Obama to win, But it is looking like he might.Just driving around the city I live in which is basically a Republican town and State i am seeing more and more bumper stickers that are for Obama. I know alot of people are pissed at our government right now But as soon as the Police shows up to a demonstration as well as the Military, most people will go home, They have a lot better fire power than we do, Our best chance right now is to vote these jokers out of office while we still can Upside down flag

A civil war? A riot here or there, but not a war. Unlike 1776 or 1860, you are hopelessly outgunned, outnumbered, and out-trained. Local law enforcement would put a stop to it in a matter of hours. If you want to die, give it a shot and see what happens. Nothing will change. In fact, for those of us left alive, we'll have an even tighter police state as a result.

I'm not sure that it will spark civil war in the U.S but I think there is a growing divide in America.

Why has President Obama not yet come up with a plan to reduce the US' $1 trillion deficit? This hangs over your heads and Romney has pledged to reduce Federal spending to 20% of GDP by 2017 - which is a start (although he has yet to explain how).

Under Obama's plans, it is heading for about 24%.

I remember the Libs saying that Bush wouldnt step down from his 'dictatorship' in 2009. Well, he did and did so graciously while the hate filled left booed him exiting the room.
Seeing as how these same Libs gave us this turd of a president who is 100 times worse than Bush ever was, I wouldnt doubt if Obie and his minions did try something like that.

what about all those pregnancy crisis centers that get bombed by conservatives every year? That would indicate conservatives as being dangerous individuals wouldn't it? What about the Army Of God and the Fundamentalist Church of Latterday Saints who are both radical conservative christian terrorists? Then there are incidents done by individuals such as the Sikh Temple Shooting, the Oklahoma City Bombing, and the Standoff at Waco Texas.

There is a solution built into the Constitution itself. Article 5 The reset button! Creating another Continental Congress. Just needs 4 more legislatures to vote for it and the Tyranny is gone! The Military would be directed by the Congress and all other branches would disappear! The States would take back their power!
  • Beat Ma... Theresa 2012/10/07 20:23:16

But how long would our nation last without the federal government? Everyone loves to rag on it, but consider this: during the Civil war, the confederacy was being heavily funded by the British and the Spanish. Why? Because they wanted to take their old colony back. A confederate victory - the "State's Rights movement if you will - would have ensured that. I'm not saying that the government is behaving well these days, but our nation cannot stand if we divide it.
