+10Only a complete loon could call AmeriKa a free civil society today... This country is already halfway down the road to politically collective tyranny and serfdom, and unless the sheople, as a whole, decide to pull their heads out, 1960's Poland will be looking like a free rich country by comparison in the not too distant future.
If I work hard, get rich, I should have the right to buy a 20,000 dollar watch. Get over your petty jealousy and get to work. Invent something and get rich, start you own business. There are millions of people in this country who started out with nothing, but worked hard and became successful. What is wrong with that.

It is the liberals who mandate that people get a certain amount of welfare money, so red state deadbeats(most of them voting for democrats)get the same amount of money as someone in California based on need. Red states don't have high tax rates, in other words they generally don't rob the rich to give to the poor.
Also your data is out of date, it is from 2004. Things have changed since 2004.

The basic fact is that blue states are in massive debt because of entitlement spending.
When the dollar collapses, the economy will quickly follow because people based their wealth on worthless dollars instead of inherent value.
The federal government will then attempt to take absolute control of the people by force.
