To some extent. I remember a few years back when Calif. was having wildfires and homes were burning. A man was being interviewed by a reporter and was asked why his home was the only one not to burn in his subdivision. His reply was that he cleared the woods and brush away from his house 90ft, thereby breaking the law of only clearing 30ft.
I also remember that the Gov. did away with alot of old logging roads and access roads into U.S. Forests so that it could stay natural. Well, nature will take it's course.

and also no. We can never get rid of the arsonists. But we can help by getting the environmentalists out of the way of clearing/cleaning forests. They are a huge part of the problem.

A little control burning might help also.

It sure would be nice to know why there's currently 28 wildfires burning in the western U.S mountainous regions.
6 states ablaze and a lot of those people not only lost their homes, but their stockpiles of supplies, guns & ammo.

I saw a news clip. and didn't see any woods close to the burnt houses, what did the grass blaze up enough to burn houses down?

60MPH winds can carry the burning debris quite a distance.
The heat keeps them aloft for miles.

Plus, if you've ever seen a Christmas tree burn..... it doesn't take long to turn a pine into a charred toothpick.

I'm just not buying the coincidence of AZ. NM. CO. UT. NV. WY. & MT. all going up in flames at the same time.
What was a fleet of 44 civilian taker aircraft has dwindled to 9 because they lease them though a private company.
That portion of the Dept,. of Interior -BLM was cut drastically.

TX was burning for months last year. The guys on the ground can only do so much.

The future covers a lot of time. Sooner or later it will burn again.

And no. As long as there are people who start fires, it will never end. It's disgusting and horrible.
