He is hated by both "sides", which makes him a great candidate for the executive, imho.

Have you ever met him away from politics? Swear, he is one of the most funniest people I've ever met! You just have to enjoy someone that has a "dry" sense of humor and will keep a straight face while your choking on your food laughing! :)

Have never had the pleasure of meeting him face to face, especially for a lite dinner. That sounds like a blast.
From your brief description, memories of my Grandfather come to mind. :-)

We the People can turn this around, using Dr. Ron as our instrument. No man is God. That is the mistake the repubs and demos make, believing that "their guy/gal" makes the sun shine and the grass grow.

Seems the more they ignore him the more he gains ground..... case in point he's in a 4 way dead heat in Iowa with the caucuses just seven weeks away.

He just isn't my candidate. Per my views I'd support Paul if he was the contender, however he only lists about 3rd in my personal list of candidates.

An honest opinion, at least. Is it that he would have us run on a Constitutional basis that has him in third?
  • Cal WannaBe... 2011/11/16 20:47:49

No, it's because personally I view him as a weak contender. He's lost in the past. That's a turn off for me.

So now Ron Paul is "law and order". Look I have no problem debating someone, but I wont debate a fanatic. You seem too obsessed for me to even try.

Look what you just posted for example ""American citizens" have turned there backs on Law and order". Since when is Paul the sole definition of "law and order". My point exactly.

Paul has some good points, and some bad points, and while I would love to discuss them, I don't discuss them with members of puppet followings (similar to Obama eh?)

    Thus, Wanna replies with the following;
Ron Paul is doing his best to represent and uphold the Constitution, to the limits of his knowledge and abilities, neither of which can be over estimated. Yet, you continue to fight against Law... it makes on wonder who it is that is utterly insane.

As for your Obama quip, I hereby suggest you look in the mirror; I am not the one being lead about by a "Party", like the communists and national socialists.

Might be time to wake up.

As most have concluded that, those who lend the money are the Masters of the borrowers, maybe put Dr. Ron as Master at the "Federal Reserve"? That way, at least, there would be an honest man in charge of that criminal organization... what do ya say, Jackie?

I prefer Head of treasury - I do not think he understands the Fed nor what it does. Treasury first - AND not so sure he is as pure as driven snow, he is, a long term politician who has a long record of pork for his district. Yes, it is legal but always had a problem with a politician who said he was against something but did it anyway because it was legal. Just my take

Then you will have a problem with me, as someone who doesn't support these wars yet works providing out troops with the tools they need to fight them.
    Can anyone say, "Catch 22"?

Yes, working within the system is killing millions, and I am just as guilty before God as if I were still pulling the trigger. So tell me, Jackie, how do I eat while living in your world without getting my sparkling clean robes dirty?

He understands fully what the Fed does. With all due respect, you are the one that doesn't understand. Article 1, section 8, clause 5 states, the Legislature has the authority: To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures; This is the duty of the Legislature, not, I repeat, NOT, a private central bank!

Oh come on - I know the constitution - hell I even read the decisions by the court and studied them back to the beginning in Con Law.

Not going to discuss Paul - just one simple note: I will not vote for him nor will I vote for Obama. Even when I try to say something positive about the man there is someone who tries to sell me this guy - I will not even consider him!

Well then, perhaps you will share your expertise. Where in the Constitution is there a provision for a private central bank to issue currency and control monetary policy, like the Federal Reserve does?

"To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever..." Article 1-Section 8-Clause 17. The municipal corporation "United States" is doing business with a privately-held corporation known as Federal Reserve.
