Why won't repubs admit that Obamacare is a republican idea?

flaca BN-0 2012/06/25 23:51:58
Who brought up the idea of a mandate? Why, none other than Newt Gingrich.
Who instigated the same h/c plan in his state: Romney.
Who is on video record saying he hoped his plan would go national? (Romney)

Lol, because Obama's supporters believe Obama is actually a leftwinger or centrist even though his voting record is overwhelmingly rightwing moreso than even the majority of Republicans.

They don't support Obama because he is the poster child for the extreme left who practically worship Obama. Like Clinton, Obama could have won over a large number of mainstream Republicans had he distanced himself from the extreme left... your voting record speaks volumes but only if you can prove you vote in favor of the people you want to win over and don't bond yourself like crazyglue to people they will not support under any condition.

You are correct on all three counts as Gingrich did come up with the idea of the mandate and Romneycare is a plan Romney said on many occasions should be taken nationally... yet the ABO crowd actually believes Romney will oppose Obamacare or remove it??? Like Obama and the Patriot Act, if Romney wins he'll support Obamacare claiming he'll fix it instead much as when Obama had a chance to let the three worst provisions of the Patriot Act to expire... he instead led the charge to renew them after becoming President.

It's like I said flaca, examine Obama's voting record and his blind support for bush when Obama was a US Senator... it's pretty clear Obama is...

It's like I said flaca, examine Obama's voting record and his blind support for bush when Obama was a US Senator... it's pretty clear Obama is a Neocon Democrat and supporting Obama on issues where he supported Bush makes Obama's supporters what when they blame Bush? It makes them hypocrites which is why I cannot support them anymore as anyone so blind would lead you into Hell blaming the angels in Heaven for the heat.

Obama is a rightwing Democrat based on his voting record and the issues where he has voiced strong support for leftwing views he either has voted against, sabotaged or has the same view as Neocon Republicans. Likewise, Romney has always been a Liberal Republican who became a Republican as a tactic to win elected office making them believe he was one of them to gain the minority Republican vote in Massachusetts but win the support of leftwing Democrats through his voting record.

Essentially put... the sheep who support Obama and the sheep who support Romney are actually supporting candidates whose voting records prove their actual views are more representative of the opposition. We have a Republican Presidential candidate with a majority leftwing voting record vs a Democrat Presidential candidate with a majority rightwing voting record.

For me... it's still Ron Paul not because I'm blind to the party as I could care less what party he belongs to, I believe in the man and of the candidates, he has been the most honest and true to his stated beliefs as well as being the most experienced... I support the man, his beliefs and his leadership ability while most Republicans and Democrats only care about the establishment of their own party and that their candidates tell them what they want to hear even though they all know their candidates are lying to them.

Four more years of Obama will be a godsend for Republicans because almost everyone who understands Obama agree he is likely to pull a Clinton shifting to the right and right leaning moderates telling the left he'll get them what they can... and if he stays left, they'll kick him around for the next four years making his second term a replay of the first.

For Democrats, the best scenario is a Romney win as he's likely to fall back on his leftwing roots like he's done over and over during the nomination process forcing Republicans to support a Liberal (ROFLIMAO) and it gives Democrats someone to kick around for four years building support that could give them a repeat of the 2008 elections in 2014 and 2016.

No one really cares about fixing the nations problems, they only care about beating the other side and are so blind in the doing... they'll go so far as to support a President whose proven views and voting record represents the other side lol.

Maybe it is time to vote for Gary Johnson since the Independent is registered in all 50 states and is the only candidate other than Ron Paul who actually gives a damn about the country and fixing our problems.

Unfortunately Rusty, Obamacare is almost identical to Romneycare. In the 2008 election to where we are now, Romneys supporters have blamed Ted Kennedy to explain Romneycare claiming Kennedy rewrote it... ok, Kennedy rewrote it but Romney left his name on it, claimed credit for it and even promised to take it nationwide because it was such a great program. Many parts of Obamacare are identical to Romneycare.

Check it out and don't just blindly follow... it will lead you to stop defending Romney on this issue and open your eyes to the fact he'll attack Obamacare promising to remove it and then start saying he'll fix it instead if he wins... just like Obama was going to remove the three worst provisions of the Patriot Act but as President, all he had to do was let them expire and instead led the charge to renew them.

Romneys beliefs and voting record are leftwing Rusty.

He claims he paid off the Massachusetts state debt without raising taxes. He is lying. He did not raise taxes directly, he just raised the price of everything else so that every additional dollar spend collected additional taxes. By his third year, it was already beginning to fall apart as cost of living and inflation were on the rise and it was clear even the Republicans in the state had turned against him so he wou...

Believe what you will... just don't be a damn blind sheep like those who support Obama and the Anyone But Obama crowd who would vote for Hitler if he were a choice just to see Obama defeated.

If you can't support a candidate with proven leadership ability, integrity and who actually wants to fix our problems instead of blindly following the establishment view... then don't vote because regardless if Obama or Romney wins, we all lose!

You want another choice? Gary Johnson made the ticket in every state as an Independent... and he's legitimate in his stated beliefs.

So why did Romney create the same thing basically with Romneycare and state he wanted to bring it nationwide. Face it, if Romney wins he'll find some reason to say he can't remove it and will fix it instead... then push it as a new version of Romneycare to gain your support when it will be identical to Obamacare in almost every way. Look at Obama supporting the Patriot Act after promising to remove the three worst provisions... then actually led the charge to preserve those three provisions when they were about to expire.

What about the Republicans in 2010 Rusty who swore up and down they were going to repeal Obamacare... then didn't do a damn thing they promised to do??? Instead, Obama tossed almost a third of Obamacare himself and it was state Republicans who took Obamacare on with no actual legislative support from Congressional Republicans to back them up.

Obama's voting record is overwhelmingly rightwing Rusty, he talks like a Liberal to gain their blind support but his record in Illinois and as a US Senator reveal his voting record is rightwing.

Answer this... why did Obama support every damn thing Bush wanted and never once voted against Bush after he became a US Senator?

Answer... Obama is a Neocon Democrat whose views are identical to Neocon Republicans. He became a Democrat in Illinois because they were coming back to power as he started his political career. Neocons used to be Liberals, rightwing Liberals maybe but Liberals nonetheless... research the Neocons, it will surprise you because they do share leftwing views which is why both Bush Presidents supported opening the doors to illegal immigration, both supported increases in welfare spending and both supported military actions as a first response with the only difference being that Papa Bush was more a true Conservative who knew how to get out of military conflict while Baby Bush held views identical to the Neocon Democrats in the 50's and 60's who got us into the Korean and Vietnam wars keeping us there for political reasons no different than Baby Bush and Obama have done.

Obama is about as Progressive as Reagan was and even speaks of Reagan with genuine admiration. An insult to Reagan? Maybe... but it's less of an insult than saying Romneys rightwing in his views.
