Why wasn't the sexual harassment problem brought up when Cain ran in 2000?

According to Wikipedia, Herman Cain ran for the office of president in 2000, and for Senate in 2004. How come these accusers didn't have anything to say then?
Any "thinking" person would have to consider that these current allegations are totally false, and are being brought forth by the press and whatever behind the scene powers that be in order to try and smear a very viable and perfectly sound individual's name and reputation.
So - why wasn't the sexual harassment charges brought out in 2000 or in 2004?

Instead of looking at Solyndra, Fast and Furious, Holder, the 'failure' Obama, etc. etc., they have everyones attention on 'terrible Mr. Cain'.....not too hard to figure out in my book.

The difference between then and now is that obama hemorrhages money for payoffs, digging dirt and all un-American activities.

Neither did I, and from the sound of talk here in Florida, I don't think he has a chance in Hades of carrying this state at all. These polls and news broadcasters are addled in the head if they think this impostor has even the remotest chance of winning again.
I am not saying that to get anybody's hopes up: I am saying it because it is all I hear - people are actually anxious for this next election to get here so they can literally throw him out on his ear!

This is nothing more than the media's attempt at character assasination of whoever is the Republican leader. It is much like the game where you try to pound the heads of gophers with a hammer as they pop their heads up .They also can't have a black man running for the Republican party especially after several years of trying to increase racial divide. Obama's entire campaign game plan of blanket accusations of racism is ruined if he/she isn't white. They don't have anything else....other than molitov cocktails, assaults, rapings, drug dealing, arson, and even murder now (Oakland)
The media/left couldn't claim Cain hates black people so they went with their standard go-to plan B...false accusations of sexism. Notice that any conservative black man will be attacked like this as/if he gains momentum. His crime??? Thinking for himself

Good point from the standpoint of the media, but 0vomit uses both the race card as well as the sexual harassment charges against opponents according to what will do the most damage. He's a Muslim, so he doesn't have any "configuration" of race card vs sexual harassment - just an agenda to get the man out of his way and out of his face. He can't take face to face confrontation. He about had a stroke when he was so eloquently and politely instructed by Netanyahu. He about tore the heads of his own staff afterwards. He's a coward, and he knows he is a usurper, and he's liar - so what's it to him if he uses whatever method.

Because, he was not a front runner. Now that he is, although most people are probably not aware of it, it is of course time for the MSM (who could not be bothered with vetting Barak Obama) to run the story in heavy rotation.

Anyone who is a conservative needs to be destroyed you see, because the MSM sees them as a very serious threat. Anybody that did not know this was coming, a conservative, black, man running for POTUS having charges of sexual harassment leveled at him, must live under a rock. This is standard operating procedure for the MSM, and the left. Frankly, it makes me yawn. When there is nothing to pin on a guy, then bam, sexual harassment. I am sure in the coming weeks that the investigations into who these women are will be quite entertaining indeed.

The whole thing has been debunked, and the one woman was out and out lying - in fact, even Cain's wife has come out and said as much. Cheating men are not married for 34 years. Not in this day and age. And if you follow this thread, you will find a link or check my profile and there is another blog I have up showing a machine that detects whether a person is lying or telling the truth via voice - and the lady accusing him is lying while Cain is telling the truth.

He may very well be a great man and he can only improve what OVOMIT (I saw that in another one of your comments and couldn't resist using it, great name BTW) failed to do. What I meant by 2 Black men changes the game is, Obummer getting elected was historic and having 2 Afro Americans on opposing sides in the same race is also historic and gives ppl something more to think about.
