Why was it ok to bash Bush for spending yet it is now perfectly fine for Obama and Co. to spend WAY MORE than Bush ever did?

Marie/M2M2K™-#1ConservativeGuru 2009/11/28 21:52:07
Hypocrisy, pure and simple.
Because Obama deserves special treatment, even at the peril of this country.

First, I did not approve of Bush's spending. But I find it a little outrageous that people defend Obama when his spending makes Bush look like a pauper. Most on the right agree that Bush spent too much money while in office and have said so publicly. Yet with Obama, his supporters defend his spending when they DOGGED Bush for it. Why is that ok? Was their complaints about Bush's spending just a cover-up for some other reason to vote for him?

I got to hand it to them, one of the things liberals are good at is hypocrisy, their messiah is destroying this country with everything he does and says and they are completely blind to it. (and or ignore it)
They are also huge supporters of the old double standard (and are quite good at it) just like their double standard on obamas massive spending as well as war, all they did was bash Bush and call it "Bushes war" never mind the FACT that the majority of liberals voted for it and even encouraged it themselves.
They ALWAYS fail to mention that one little FACT.
Which brings me to one of the other things liberals are good at..... avoiding FACTS at all cost.
Like the FACT that b. hussein obama has spent more in one year than any president in history and the FACT that he is a liar and in the interest of keeping this reply to a minimum I wont list them all, I dont want to overload the servers at Soda Head HQ

bush was just wasting it on wars, anyone with a good understanding of economics would tell you that when the private sector is in retreat, aka a recession the government is to expand and create investment e.g. building things, then when the private sector expands the government withdraws, its policy that works and has worked since the great depression

Wrong. Spending like obammieboy only causes the deficit to go out of control. We got the never ending and super expensive WELFARE program out of the depression and created a welfare entitlement class that has never gone away. Spending money NEVER helps the economy or the nation. You can clearly see that itr has been BAD and is NOT helping. All it is doing is making a bad situation worse. Banks that took NO money are almost fully recovered at no cost to taxpayers. Banks that took money, are struggling or shutting down, The bailout of wall street allowed several big wall street firms that supported obammies campaign to pay out record bonuses, adn make record profits, add to that the fact that geithner (tax cheat Geithner) gave all bailout firm a 1% tax rate for several years and you have rich people making BILLIONS more and poor taxpayers footing the bill. So you are so far off base til you MUST be a sheeple, living on koolaid and worshipping your idiot king.

No one knows what Bush told Obama during the transition. It seems to me he is in the better position to make the calls he needs to make to bring this country back from falling off the edge. Give the man his four years to do what he can for this country and if you are not satisfied you do have the option to vote him out just like every other candidate that has been in office that you didnt want. We gave Bush his eight years which we should not have, so give Obama his four. There were alot of angry people when Bush was in office so I do not expect less from the people that are angry because Obama is in office. Bush had his chance now its Obama chance.

I don't like either one spending. That's why we're in debt. Let's get
more in debt, so we can spend higher taxes. When will they ever learn?

because bush didn't pay for his stupid war in Iraq: it wasn't even in his budget. He left it for Obama. Bush didn't have a financial collapse to bail out. Take these 2 things out and it looks a lot different.

I was/am an Obama supporter. However, I am not happy about the spending, nor are most Americans - whether they be Right or Left. The only defense I see is the necessity due to an economy on the absolute brink of disaster. History showed us that stopping the spending too soon is what ended the recovery and threw us into what we now call the "Great Depression".

Only time will tell us if we will actually dodge the bullet this time. We are headed for inflationary times will the printing of Monopoly money - but is the lesser of 2 evils when compared with a depression. It's scary for sure. The rest of the western world is doing the same thing - trying to spend itself out of economic collapse. Will it work? Will the western countries remain the "reigning" empire, or as history also shows, there is a cyclical shift of "empires" from west to east, east to west - that will occur in this century?

Bush spent to oblivion - 2 never-ending wars - Obama - spending to oblivion to reverse a global downward economic spiral. I don't like it from either one. Again - only time will tell. I wonder if anyone would have run for president had they known the economic disaster looming for them??

Funny how you never mention the congress that padded ALL of Bushes spending plans with quadruple pork, and the congressional dems like Inouye from Hawaii that pd the defense budget into the multi billions and call all of it Bush spending. Where is the responsibility of congress in your little blame bush plan.

The same could be true with Obama's spending too then couldn't it? Even in the health care reform debates we have Congressmen wanting "pork" added in for their states before voting. That is a disgrace. Yes - I agree. And I hope that those doing that crap are promptly voted out of office.

Because those who supported Bush and got irritated when he was openly criticized about his spendings during his term, now believe that it's perfectly ok to do so to Obama as long as he's the one who spent more within the shortest amount of time. But what they have failed to realize is that Bush was an incompetent pee-brained monkey. So they shouldn't be so quick to make complete hypocrites of themselves by defending a pee-brained monkey.

I meant what I said, "So they shouldn't be so quick to make complete hypocrites of themselves by defending a pee-brained monkey." Meaning that they shouldn't be so quick to make hypocrites of themselves for the sake of an incompetent pee-brained monkey. You can interpret this however you wish, one way is to look at it in a way that is very true; Hypocrisy is a two-way street, that means that those who defend Obama shouldn't be so quick to do so as well. Take it however you wish but don't come crying to me about your interpretation of my words.
