Why Roberts changed his mind on 0bama care and could he have been pressured to change his vote?

John Roberts has reached his " impregnable island fortress."

The U.S. Supreme Court's chief justice arrived at the Mediterranean island of Malta on Tuesday, where he will be teaching a class for two weeks.

If anyone desperately needs an island getaway, it's Roberts.

Since casting the key vote to uphold President Barack Obama's health care law, he has been bombarded with fiery criticism from conservative politicians and pundits.

Speculation about why Roberts voted with the liberal side of the court reached a fever pitch on Sunday when CBS reported that Roberts had switched his vote.

Then on Tuesday, a Supreme Court source told Salon that Roberts actually wrote much of the dissent, as well as the majority opinion.

Confusion reigns!

Maybe after some R&R; on Malta's famed beaches, Roberts might care to clarify what actually took place.

He shouldn't really have to tell everyone what took place. What took place, was the transfer of money, into his pocket to sway his decision on this bill. Then in the process to title it differently, helped him to make the decision. Well he went about this the wrong way, because what I feel, something will come right back around and bite those people in the butt, that helped to vote and sway Roberts decision on the crazed scheme set up by Obama and this administration, to make it easier to re-elect Obozo. Something will go wrong, and all of them will be at a loss, when Obama loses the 2012 election. And upon Obama's loss, Roberts will be asked to step down.
THAT'S WHAT I THINK DID AND WILL HAPPEN !!!

You may be right, he could have been influenced in that way. When obama is out of power, Roberts may indeed find himself in trouble. He and the two communists on the court should be asked politely to resign. I am afraid though that Romney will not do it which leaves the Congress and that brings another question; Will anyone in Congress have guts to stand up against that kind of corruption and the onslaught of marxist media propaganda?

I know what your saying. I personally stopped liking Sarah Palin a few years after the 2008 fiasco, but she would have had the balls to send that course in the right direction, and I think maybe Michelle Bachman may be another one conservative enough and the same amount of guts Palin has to go against that corruption. All you need is a few to get the full load to go up against all that's bad. They say behind every successful man you have a great woman. Romney is successful at what he does, and if we get this man as President, then you can bet his wife will be his backbone behind the scenes.

You may be right about Romney's wife being his backbone and influence him to do the right thing. As for Sarah Palin, in my opinion, the fiasco was not her fault but rather McCain and his campaign manager screwed up. Sarah wanted him and herself to campaign in Michigan and Ohio which turned pretty close vote where obama barely squeaked by. Another mistake that was entirely McCain manager's fault was to ignore large Polish and Ukrainian population in Great Lakes region. These people were concerned with the resurgence of Russian imperialism and McCain could have gone there and reassured them in that regard. He did not do it and obama went to meet with them shortly before election. He did not sway too many but enough to get him Michigan and Ohio.

Has to be something along these lines.
Which brings another question, was it Roberts who consistently refused to allow "birther" cases to be brought against obama?

I think you are right. In that case, he has been a Sleeper Cell all along, a Manchurian Candidate.
