Now, as a pagan, I'm just speculating here. If Moses did in fact exist (and I'm not necessarily saying that he did), there is a possibility that any record of him was stricken from the tablets and monuments and whatnot. Wasn't the Pharaoh (whichever one it was, I don't even think they know that yet) supposed to have done that anyway according to the stories? It is possible. Of course, it could just as easily all be a really interesting story.

My take on it was that the Egyptians, like all other cultures, would not necessarily record anything that was not true Egyptian and certainly not record any military defeats. Since Moses was not Egyptian that may be the reason, although Joseph who became the 2nd highest authority just behind the Pharaoh does have some recorded history on a monument to Horemheb and other artifacts.

but he was for a short time in the pharoahs care so i would that somewhere on the walls of temples there be a symbol or something that said he was there

It was more than a short time. He was taken in by the Pharaohs daughter at birth and he left Egypt at age 40. So, it is surprising that there isn't something.

According to the Bible, Moses lived to be 120 years old. Not much different than today.

A very good question that people have yet to answer. Of course, there's no absolute proof saying he never existed either. In any case, I don't really care, haha.

Manetho's history quoted by Josephus and the Christian historian Eusebius (chronicler to Constantine) place the Exodus specifically under Moses during the reign of Amenhotep IV (Akhenaten) following a 13 year period marked by pestilence, rebellion and the violation of Egyptian temples and their gods.
