My belief is that they do not value others as equals, but as lesser than, and must retain their inbred or taught views because they so want to be part of the "elite" American crowd, sadly, this is not reality, but the illusion they must keep going knowing if they "jump ship" to be a fair human they are swimming or sinking alone, so they stay with those who they think may save them, or at least except them. Pretty pathetic view of what America seems to becoming more and more lately.

That is nonsense. It is because we actually work and know that attacking those that hire and invest only steals opportunity from those that are willing to work and only benefits that lazy that aren't.

Conservatives actually see everyone as equal and capable, which is why we actually believe in treating everyone equally and believe in equal individual rights and freedom. The left are just lazy people looking for a hand out at the expense of equality and freedom

The less money they make the less people they hire as well.Yet Government can't creat any privet sector jobs by asking wealthy employers to pay more taxes either- Not if its also going to effect their profits at the very same time. Please try some common sense next time O.K.?

Equal treatment, ROFLMAO. The government of the connected writes laws favoring the connected, something some conservatives refuse to acknowledge. GE pays zero, capital gains is 15% never equaled since the great depression. Outsourcers write off foreign taxes, the only country in the world that allows it. P.S. I'm selling the Brooklyn Bridge cheap.

I wonder if, like me, you would support the Fair Tax, a national sales tax that would eliminate all income taxes and hidden taxes. It would also eliminate corporate tax loopholes. Everyone would pay the same rate.

The only reason the rich pays less taxes is because their accountants works the figures to pay less with allowed deductions which is also the same deductions for everyone else! Once they get lesser deductions to pay more...who do you think will also be included...everyone else! One thing is for sure...Corporation higher taxes causes higher prices on to the consumer! Higher costs to the consumer does NOT HELP the economy but does help support more government wasteful spending!

do you realize that taxes are needed to keep America afloat , If America defaults we all lose big time , you wouldn't be happy and you wouldn't have America the beautiful . the wealthy will stay wealthy , who cares if the pay a little more might save me a few bucks if they do.

Of course I do, who doesn't? I know that cuts are needed much more though.

The rich do pay more in taxes. The recent statements by Obama concern capital gains.

If you want to be upset at someone, be upset with Obama. He extended the Bush tax cuts.
