I noticed that if you express a differing opinion from someone it is often labeled as hate. For example if I say that I do not support Gay marriage, and think that homosexuality is not what God wants, people accuse me of "hate speech". If I say that abortion is wrong, it is labeled as "hate".

If I don't support Barack Obama, then I must be racist as well? Never mind that it is his policies that I dislike. I don't like his position on abortion. He considers a baby a punishment. That is hate in my mind. I don't like his foreign policy. I don't like his position on taxing the wealthy. I don't like his anti-business ideas. It has nothing at all whatsoever to do with his color. Bringing up his race is a Liberal thing.

So IS the term HATE overused?

It used to work. The left learned that no one wanted to be labeled, luckily they have overused the tactic and now it is backfiring on them.

But I have learned this about Libs and I no longer back down. When I believe I am right, I stick to my guns.
Secondly
To like and dislike is NOT hate! Too bad the Political Left haven't figured that one out yet.
