Why is it that "patriots" always talk about dying for the country and never of killing for their country?

    Because dying for a cause is noble. The establishment wants us to view soldiers as noble, not as the killers that many of them are. And the fact that I am probably going to get down raved for this comment just proves my point. It's not okay to say anything about soldiers that is less than positive.

    she was gunning for all "minorities", including hispanic, etc. Nothing so clever as having the enemy line up to willingly have their off-spring sentenced to death !! Amazing phenomenon !! Kind of gives new meaning to the expression about "telling a person in a sweet, sugary voice, to go to hell and have them look forward to the trip", doesn't it !!

    because your own life is the biggest thing wich u have and u promise to sacrifice it ....remember giving is always better than taking...and so is the case when u give ur life,,,,,,as compared to when u take a life by killing somebody,,,,i hope i ve scored my point

    I thought he was calling himself an "Independent" these days?

    Either way, the two parties seem the same anymore. You can only tell them apart by the color of their ties. Both hate the Constitution, which is why I am declared an "extremist" under both nominal regimes.
    What about you? Are you loved by the power block that you advocate?

    I'm a dyed-in-the-wool patriot and none of my kids have signed up for the military. What's that got to do with anything ? Is it only Patriots who go to war ? is it only republicans who go to war ? Last I checked, there's this wanna-be "president" who's shipping off a WHOLE SHIP LOAD of our finest to Afganistan, after PROMISING to bring everyone home !! Now if THAT isn't the epitome of hypocrisy, then I don't know what is !!!

    Gee, did you say the same thing when the previous Chicken Hawk administration sent everyone else's kids off to die too? At least that Chicken Hawk Administration was old enough to serve in more than one war (unlike Obama who wasn't old enough for one, then too old for the next one).

    Absolutely. Bush was messed up !! Shameful to see our men and women going into this foreign land and dying for political / economic gain. I was all for going in and taking out Sadam ... but I see only shame in leaving our nation's finest in harms way, dying in a war which, like Vietnam, they're not being allowed to win !!

    Well, I'm an Independent and I love playing the devil's advocate. I want people to think. Just the teacher in me. How ever, the more I hear the 'right' talk, the more the word 'liberal' sounds like a compliment.

    War , Like a plague, is coming to a neighborhood near you ! It's just a matter of time . Most Americans have never experienced war. George Washington was a Patriot to some , a killer to others . The same can be said for me , depends which side you are on. A living patriot is a warrior that is good at what he does.

    July4Patriot's name is Sgt Charles Dyer. He was stationed in CA when he made his first few videos and now has returned home to OK. I believe him to be a remarkable man of honor, concerned about the direction of the country, having sworn his oath the defend the constitution against any enemy, foreign or domestic, and recognizing that his oath has no expiry date !!
