Why is it that in towns where white people are the minority, they do not get special "minority rights" and the majority who are non-whites still do?

There are many small towns, and some not so small, where white people are no longer the majority of the population and yet the majority, who are non-white, still qualify for the special "minority rights".

Since this is 2012 and everyone wants equal to mean equal, should ALL preferences to race, gender, religion or other differences be dropped and everyone looked at as no different?

I can't remember the last time I got a job "because" I was white, or a male, or could not be fired "because" I was white. Oh....yes I can, NEVER.

    Because they vote republican typically.

The liberal ignorance is rampant in today's society and young people are being indoctrinated daily. They have no concept of the realities of segregation, desegregation, reverse discrimination, or the policies implemented (such as Affirmative Action) to change things.

Ex: I had a 20 year old liberal arguing with me the other day that Affirmative Action was implemented to give white males priority over females and minorities. This is the bull***t that many of the youth are being taught as fact and how you end up with an illegal president with strong loyalties to Muslims that hate us.

This is my entire point, obviously missed by the commenter below. Don't know how it could have been made any clearer.
