Why is it illegal to kill someone even if they give you permission to do it?

What's so bad about that? I mean if someone doesn't want to live anymore then I guess they deserve the right not to. It's their own body and nobody else's.
You!

In our country, as well as in many other countries, intentionally taking the life of another human being is illegal.

A very big part of assisted suicide being included in the above group is the difficulty and/or inability to prove without a shadow of doubt that the suspect did not take advantage of, influence and or pressure the victim to desire that their life be taken.

Most people in the US are Christian and think murder and suicide is wrong so they have the power.

The problem would be proving you had permission, and proving they gave it willingly.

Yup. I guess you can make the person sign something that says you have permission to do so.

That has many other problems such as Forging signatures, proving the signature is theirs, tricking people into signing it, and proving it wasn't signed under duress...

Maybe if they had to stand infront of some kind of tribunal and state their willingness, although that still has problems...
