Why is IRAN defying the United States??!!

Y'know I just don't get it. I mean they must be suicidal!! They saw us INVADE IRAQ under false pretenses, they see us bombing Afghanistan everyday which is right next door to them, they know we are bombing Libya, Pakistan, Yemen and others...
So why do they defy us? Why continue the nuclear program?

It's not like we are not taking actions against them. After all we:

We have spies working to undermine their government.
We openly kill their scientists.
We have been sending cyber-attacks to knock out their computer networks.
We surrounded them with United States military bases.
We used NATO to impose crippling economic sanctions which have led to doubling of the people's food prices and increased energy costs.
We have warships and nuclear submarines patrolling their waters and trade routes.
We have even threatened to choke off their main supply line (Strait of Hormuz) so they can't sell their oil, which could bankrupt the country.
And of course, we have 24 hour drone surveillance over their skies.

Some say that it is because IRAN hates us for our freedoms!!

Others say that IRAN is terrified, but bluffing to look politically tough!!

They will attack the US or support extreme terrorist groups they claim!!

Some alledge that the US is being played by ISRAEL and MSM propaganda to attack IRAN. This way they don't have to attack and the Americans are on the hook for the soldiers killed and BILLIONS spent!!
netanyahu laughing
What do you think? Why is IRAN being insubordinate? Their military is not a threat to either Israel or the U.S., so why disobey? Why not just take the money like other countries and shut up?

Why should another country be subordinated to U.S. to begin with? If some other nation demanded our obedience, we'd laugh in their face. We'd serve ourselves well to recognize the sovereignty of other nations as we'd have other nations recognize ours.

And yes, we're being played alright - by our own govt. and resource snatching tyrants running it. But ultimately - we're being played by ourselves for being dumb enough to fall for it.

Well Gee! How many nations have taken Embassy Diplomats Hostage rather then offering them safe passage on a plane or conduct to a border? Or have openly asked for the EXTERMINATION of another Sovereign Nation that has never in it's history attacked them?

For over for over 30 years they have not been rational and you want sense from it? Lol!

and why should Iran listen to us, what have we done for them since the Iran hostage crisis? I mean there is a historical context to think about here, i know us Americans dont like our history and some want to change it but it is there.

They no that our dog (Obama) has no bite. This gives them the opportunity to appear strong by doing what they are doing. As for the poster of this you obviously do not understand the size of the threat Iran poses. Get you head out of the sand.

Thanks for the advice wtf. I was under the impression that Israel as a sovereign nation should handle its own affairs w/out permission from the US. I thought that if they felt threatened, then they had a right to react/defend themselves.
Are the Israeli forces not capable of defending their homeland against IRAN?
Israel has superior weaponry, air force, intel & hundreds of nukes.
Shouldn't we finish Afghanistan before jumping into another unpopular and expensive conflict?
Last, I propose a war tax on the people that way this doesn't drag on like other wars.

NO NEW TAXES!!!!! We are taxed to death or do you just not understand that.

We are also being threatened by Iran or are you blind to that fact as well.

I thought you would answer the questions I asked? If not, then that's okay.
As far as taxes, if you've read any of my posts you would know that I am an advocate of tax reform and also agree that it is not the right time to raise taxes on anyone.
My friend, sooner or later we're gonna have to deal with the 16+ TRILLION natl debt and our annual budget deficits. This will need to include both spending cuts and an increase in tax revenue to balance the budget and pay down the debt.

This administration is tying the hands of our military, more so than the last administration, in order to pander to those that complain that we are causing too much damage and death. Otherwise Afganistan would have been over in six months or less.

This administration is also trying to bully Israel into not taking action and so far it has worked.

Over all the majority of the [problem is this administration and hopefully we only need to deal with it for a few more months.

We allow them to defy us in the name of international harmony.

It seems that we are more afraid of the Muslim street than we are of Iran getting a bomb.

While only Iran knows for sure I think it is because of this. Consider what we would do if the situation were reversed. What if the rest of the world was telling us we can't develop nuclear power because we can't be trusted with it. Would we then say, Okay then we will stop. Not likely. Now how far they will go is anyone's guess. Only time will tell.

Since Ahmadinejad is not "playing-ball" with the International Bankers (Rothschild), and they control ISRAEL, the "US" is being used to play bully in a "diplomatic" effort to get him to capitulate.

Lol. Goldman Suks almost owns the European central bank via it's director and has installed two unelected Goldman Sachs presidents (in Greece and Italy). US and EU banks made bad investments in mafia governments in South Europe with way too much loans. Instead of taking their loss, these banksters have such a grip on politics they even have the US gov and the FED sending money to Europe (which of course flows directly back into the coffers of US and EU banks).

Watch out Goldman Suks runs both Obama and Romney.
flows coffers eu banks watch goldman suks runs obama romney

lol. Achmedinejad never said so. Some suckers still believe US MSM. Achmedinejad wants the regime of Israel gone (wiped of the map). Pretty much the same as what US/Israel wants/ wanted with Saddam, Qaddafi, Taliban, Iran and many more.

Difference US/Israel actually did start aggressive invasion wars or send the CIA in to do a coup. Iran on the other hand wants a referendum for all people living in Israel/Palestine.

Please take your blinders of and get your news from some other sources too.

Note. Israel of course has terrorized and cleansed Arabs from their homes since the inception of Israel. Not only rhetoric, but mass graves to prove it.

    'CIA aided British Intelligence'
Great you know they overthrew the democratically elected leader of Iran, Mr Mossadeq, and installed a brutal corrupt fascist dictator for British-owned Anglo-Iranian Oil Company in 1953. You're right the UK oil and banking interests were giving the orders at the time. Still UK banking interests are involved in giving orders. It's mostly international banking industry elite bribing and owning US Presidential candidates of both sides, giving the orders.

'And the Dutch were pure as driven snow in Indonesia!'
lol, you're right. In Indonesia the Dutch did the typical colonial thingy. (Economic) slavery, apartheid, military occupation, stealing of resources. Most recent and disgusting just after ww2, Dutch were conscripted for a 'police action', went in and killed 90% of Atjeh among others. That's genocide.

We need to stop colonialism-imperialism all together. The US should stop policing the world and defend it´s own borders. Israel should stop occupying territories, enforcing >40 years of martial law now. These wars for corporations and Israel in the ME are bankrupting the US both moral and economical. And of course the Dutch are doing the same. Dutch politicians are bribed from Washington with international careers or forced by threat of economic sanctions to send troops to Iraq and Afghanistan against the will of majority here.

    Peace!
