Why Is Fox News Excited About Democratic Congressional Gains?

Thank God Fixed News dispelled the silly notion that they're the media arm of the Republican Party:

Republicans' hopes are rekindled because:

WINS SEND SHOCKWAVES THRU CONGRESS

Really? Yesterday in Virginia and New Jersey, voters overwhelmingly said that their vote had nothing to do with the President or his policies, while at the same time Nancy Pelosi picked up two more House votes for health care reform. Yet according to Fixed News, Democrats winning the only two congressional races on the ballot yesterday is good news for Republicans and should send a message to Democrats.

Sounds suspiciously like GOP spin, doesn't it?

One thing is for sure, if Palin hadn't interjected herself into the New York Congressional race, a Republican would have certainly retained a seat that had been in their hands since the Civil War.

    Thank you Sarah.

I think the most beneficial "mole" that we have in the conservative movement is Ann Coulter. She's probably responsible for driving more people to the Democratic Party than anyone else.

The really sad part is that Palin, Thompson, and Limbaugh caused the Republican to end up supporting the Democrat.

As many poli-scis have said "Politics are local". The people voting in the states, when asked if Obama and the job he is doing had anything to do with who they voted for, 57% said no. Another small percentage said they thought about him, but it had no influence on their votes.

It was a changing of the guard. If things were bad, rightly or wrongly, the incumbent was voted out. Not rocket science.

Now they have us right where they want us! Overconfident after picking up a few more votes, our downfall is assured.

The best part was the spin from Rush. He was spinning so fast I got dizzy. I'll bet Palin had her victory speech ready to go, but instead there was nothing but spin on her Facebook page.

The best part of it all is Palin is now toast politically. Who do you suppose will want her on their bandwagon next year? Perhaps the Wasilla dogcatcher, but only if he is acceptably right wing.

Darn! Wish I could comment on Rush and Palin, but somehow, I missed this one!

But if it's true that Palin just shot herself in the foot (or both feet), that's O.K. with me. Who in the world does she think she is anyway, and why does she consider herself so self important to the world? A governor who walked away from her job with only greed in mind? I wonder what her next book will be about....LOL

The 2 Republicans running for governor this week threw her under the bus so fast that it was hilarious. Bob McDonnell said something to the effect of "We'd love to have her campaign, but I think she's too busy writing books."

Don't get me wrong. As a Virginian, I'm mad that Attorney Gen McDonnell will be Governor, and in no way is he as centerist as his campaign would have people believe. But at least he's not a complete nut.
