Christians on this site seem to think they are the only ones allowed to discriminate. They have this holier than thou attitude that is really pretty amusing.

If I can be honest. I've only been a Christian for the past four years, and have felt more discrimination from atheists in those past four years of being a Christian, than I ever did by Christians for all the years that I was an atheist.

Well there actually is a lot of hypocrisy in some people. I think these people use Christianity for personal gain though. There are however people who try to be honest with their creed, maybe very ignorant, but honest.

I get a lot more backlash on here from atheist than I do from other religions. Plus I never forced my religion or acted like a bigot over anything here.

Oh, like I would say humans come from God or I believe that God loves us simple stuff. And someone would post something rude like, "he's imaginary, your on a high horse." or give me the longest written comment ever to try and validate their rudeness or why they think they are right. Sometimes I wish we could stop bashing each other and find some kind of peace with peoples decisions. Christians try to hard, and atheist sometimes think they are more intelligent. Not all, but some.

It is usually just a straight, "I believe God did this," Or, "I believe," Or occasionally, "This and this. Period." So I can avoid some backlash.

As long as you are saying your personal belief and not telling others what is fact or fiction, then you have done nothing wrong. Many none believers have had very bad experiences with so called believers

I hope that you will see the irony of your post, as not all Christians *are* bigoted....

It is true though that there is an awful lot of prejudice and assumption that is made on this site...

When I point out a flaw in a Republicans argument and I am labelled a Liberal, disagree with a Democrat and I am labelled right wing....

It would appear that I am a lot of things to a lot of people, yet none think to ask....

The truth is that I am nonpartisan...

BTW Christ was an inclusive sort of chap who asked us to love our neighbours and not to judge them, and to me that means everyone - irrespective of sexuality, creed or race.

I don't know about wealth, but he certainly felt that there was enough of what people needed to go around - literally in the cases of the loaves and fishes....

Because they have their religion to hide behind as the reason for their hate so its justified.....
I find on here & real life christians & conservatives name calling first because they don't have anything to say back with evidence or proof...

I disapprove of thieves because my religious beliefs tell me that stealing is wrong. Technically, that makes me a bigot.

No, that was my answer.

I am, by definition, a bigot because I have a clear definition of the differences between right and wrong. There are some people that are offended by the concept of right and wrong, they prefer shades of grey and they use terms like "bigot" in order to get others to join them.

Lep, apparently you have been skipping over the nastest, most unreasonable comments that I read on here and those are from atheists.

Your contention that ALL Christians are bigots because of what you read on sodahead is kind of like me accusing the entire democratic party of being communists because someone held up a sign at their convention supporting communism.

While I am not a practicing Christian and have my own ideas concerning the creation of the universe, given a choice between living with Christians or atheists, I'm certainly going with the Christians.

Ms, in my opinion what that person did was wrong and an example of why some Christians get a bad name. Of course consider where the comment came from, sodahead. It's overrun with simplistic nonsense and I would urge you to separate the 'wheat from chaff'

It's just like Leprachan. He is somewhat of a fanatic from the other side. I may comment on these questions but don't take much of this to heart and judge groups like Christians and atheists by people I know and almost none of them are fanatics.
