The LORD Jesus Christ already defeated satan when
He died our substitutionary death (vindicated by resurrection).
The torment of satan will commence unendingly in a
minimum of 1,007 years from the date of the
"in the clouds" Return of The LORD Jesus Christ,
when He snatches His Bride away for The Marriage Supper
of The Lamb. Afterward, He'll return to the Mount of Olives
to defeat His enemies, gathered in the Valley of Mt. Megiddo.
According to His Inspired record, The LORD Jesus Christ
will have a peaceful reign for 1,000 actual years.
Further revealed, toward the end of that time, He will have satan
released for a short period to once again deceive the nations.
After which, satan, and death, and hell will be cast into
the Lake of Fire where (at that time) the False Prophet and
the "instead of Christ" (aka antiChrist) "already ARE."

Since The LORD Jesus Christ -- the Initiator of time, space,
laws of physics, and so much more -- is also known as
The Lamb Who was slain "before the foundation of the earth"

all that His people would need to believe for Him to give us the
gift of eternal life... because we simply are completely powerless
to save ourselves. We can't be (or become) good enough
on our own ... so He imputed His righteousness upon us.

So, to greatly oversimplify, mankind HAD TO have the opportunity
to choose NOT to "have this Man reign over" them.
Isaiah 14 records that lucifer desired to be worshipped and that
was partly why he was allowed to deceive the people of all nations.
BTW, it is widely believed that lucifer is satan's old name.

The Earth cannot be in full peace. It would be like making it to a 2nd Heaven. GOD can destroy Satan if he really wanted too but it would make life less challenging and it would make it no fun. Besides GOD only put us on Earth to see if we're going to try to buy our way in Heaven or Hell. GOD has already destroyed Satan by throwing him in the lake of fire. So, he's just doing GOD's dirty work till he gets tired of him and erase his spirit from this universe.

The Bible tells us that God will imprison Satan forever....the book of Revelation explains God's final plan.

And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Rev 20.10, NKJ)

They are one in the same. Some believe him to be some kind of fallen angel, but if you actually read the texts you hear that "God" is both the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. From this one can interpret it to basically mean "God" is both the light side and the dark side of the force, there is no satan.

I agree that that's not how the book ends, but I also believe that since God created Satan(Lucifer), he is partially 2 blame 4 his actions.

Nevermore, I think this is a tremendous question, thank you. I believe God doesn't want to. The separation of Satan from God came about due to God giving man free choice, as to their beliefs and actions, while Satan wanted man to have NO choice in either. I believe that God allows Satan to exist, merely to prove to Satan that man, when given free choice of good versus evil, will, for the most part, ultimately choose good.

yet...Satan, like all of us, serves a special purpose in the economy of God....when satan has fully served his purpose he'll be relegated to hell which was originally and specifically created for him and the other angels who chose to go along with him in rebellion against God...

If God is a loving God and a sovereign God, how could He have allowed sin to enter this world which He made? And if He did allow it to enter, why does He allow it to continue? Since God is the creator of all things, including Satan and all God’s creation is for good, than ultimately, even Satan and evil are for good. Satan is of God and for God, but God himself is purely holy and good, and does not tempt. Satan is the one who tempts, but he does not do so outside of the will of God. God is always in control of every situation regarding Satan, even in the early accounts where God is seen as the initiator. Satan is in subordination to God at all times.

Oh he will be destroyed, God gave us free will to decide how we want to live. But the battle is coming sooner that a lot of people think. Read your bible if you have one. Maybe you can borrow one from a friend. It's never to late to turn to the Lord. God bless you.

If I preferred blindness I would be like many who have responded to this post and ignore proven facts just because I don't want to believe them. THAT is blindness.
