Why do we ignore murders of blacks by other blacks?
His name was Albert Vaughn. He was by all accounts a very good kid living in a very tough neighborhood. He was attending a party at a home that was supposed to be a haven for young inner-city Chicago teens back in April of 2008. The kids were there to enjoy some fun, drink some Kool-Aid, and listen to their favorite music, free from the fear of violence that too often inhabited the streets outside.
But violence found a way in.
At about 10:30 p.m., a scuffle broke out in the basement between two of the guests, and the fight ignited a chain of events that led to the death of the innocent young man. He was fatally struck in the head with a baseball bat as he tried to help the party chaperones usher the kids home.
That’s right. A baseball bat. The same murder weapon Al Capone killed a guy with in The Untouchables.
“He was just trying to do something good for the ’hood because there’s nothing but violence around here,” Sunday Turman, 33, who hosted the party, told reporters. “Next thing you know, he hit the ground right in front of police.”
Vaughn, a student at Julian High School, was the 23rd Chicago Public Schools student slain that school year.
From 2008 through January of 2012, 530 young people have been killed in Chicago, President Obama’s hometown. Over 80 percent of those homicides occurred in black or Latino communities on the city’s South, Southwest, and West sides.
But you don’t know Albert Vaughn’s name.
You don’t know the name of those other 22 kids from Julian High School who died in 2008.
You don’t know any of the other 530 young people, most of them minorities, who were killed between 2008 and January of 2012 in Chicago alone.
All of them were tragedies. All of those victims were too young to die.
Why didn’t you hear about their senseless deaths? Why didn’t the media make them household names? Why didn’t civil-rights leaders march, and march and march again, calling for justice?
Because they were not killed by a white guy.
No, I need to be more accurate. They were not killed by a “white Hispanic,” a new term of art the New York Times and others in the media are using to describe George Zimmerman, the man who killed Trayvon Martin.
Why? Because the real racism that exists in the media is this: a young black male’s life is not worth reporting when it is taken by another black male. It is worth reporting only when it is taken by a white guy.
Thus the contortions to make George Zimmerman “white.”
If this were a voter-ID story, Zimmerman would have been called an Hispanic, not a “white Hispanic.”
And if he were a presidential candidiate, Zimmerman would have been called an Hispanic, not a “white Hispanic.”
I don’t ever remember the New York Times calling President Obama the first “white black” president.
The real tragedies here are the stories not being told by the media when it comes to race.

First of all, why do we ignore all the missing white people perpetrated of by white people who come up unfounded (because they're dead)?
Second, FBI homicide statistics are misleading because most homicides go unsolved (meaning not enough evidence to convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that a defendant is guilty. Similarly, defendants are not found innocent in a criminal trial; instead they are found not guilt).
All you can do is call names.
Examine the Trayvon Martin case. It was falsely reported as a white adult male killing a black child... that's the only reason the media gave a damn about the killing of a black child. Only it turned out it wasn't a white man nor was it a black child. When it was learned Zimmerman was hispanic... white supremists had to be dancing with joy because the political left again jumped the gun. Even worse, Zimmerman is a Democrat and claims of white racists supporting him... lol, to them Zimmermans a mutt polluting the white race and all this is for them is a dog fight.
Race baiting? You mean like accusing everyone who opposes Obama of racism while admitting had you elected a white Democrat they would have been treated the same way... that's party politics as usual and Republicans aren't supposed to support Obama anymore than Democrats supported Bush... oh yeah, except for Obama himself as...

Does a white supremist care who harms a black man as long as a black man is harmed?
When the Neocons began changing political parties, they took millions of voters with them and their corporate backers. If the left didn't do anything, the rest of the Democrat right would have followed. So they sold out exactly as hippies and black civil rights leaders accused them of in the 70's and if you research, you will find very few Dixiecrat leaders switched political parties. Strom Thurmond did because he supported Goldwater for President and got blacklisted by the Democratic Party in South Carolina. And what about LBJ? Before becoming President, JFK sided with racist Democrats almost all the time and even voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1958. He chose LBJ to get the Dixiecrat vote and was actually opposed by most Liberals. It was the Neocons who supported Kennedy but ironically, they weren't racists. LBJ is famous for having said that he would give the Democratic Party ownership of the black vote for 200 years at a time Democrats didn't want the black vote... they ruled the roost and they wanted to strip blacks of the right to vote. Johnson was the type of racist who was a black mans friend during the day... and was wearing a sheet burning a cross in their yard at night.
Why tell you all this?
Because since blacks began voting for the Democrats almost to the person... the black on black violence rate exploded.
Wake the hell up as anyone concerned about black people killing one another and doing so at a larger percentage than any other group, is not a racist or if they are... exploit them to put up or shut up. Republican leaders only support the issues of people who vote for them and they support integration which many in the black community stopped supporting when Martin Luther king jr was killed because while we fought to end white segregation... we forgot the black collaborators preying on their own people in segregated black communities which is why so few black communities have really changed since the 60's... because when black Americans achieve any real level of affluence, most abandon the black community and integrate.
What about abortion? Black women have two to three times the number of abortions as white women. Why? Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood. Sanger was a racist whose views differed from Hitlers only in that she thought he was a brute killing people after they were born... but convincing undesirables to have abortions and be sterilized was a different story as she did support that. She believed in the Liberal views of her day which included sterilizing the mentally ill, experimenting on convicts, experimenting on minorities, that the poor were mentally ill and they used science to justify their racist views. Sanger not only supported convincing minorities to have abortions, she supported convincing poor white women to have abortions viewing that white poor were breeding like cockroaches.
Strange isn't it that Planned Parenthood is still targeting minority and poor white communities... and it's still Liberals who support them doing it.
The Democrats never stopped being racists... they just learned to play by different rules as everyone they represent is a damn victims group they unite against the Republicans... but when they gain power in Washington DC, they can't even hang on to it for more than two years before Republicans regain power because these victims groups begin falling against one another...
What about the media? In the bad ol days, the media distorted facts whenever a black man was accused of a crime, they pounced if that man was released from custody because police didn't have enough evidence to hold them during their investigation and then the KKK issued their bounties... why does this sound so familiar?
Oh yeah, it's what the media set in motion against George Zimmerman distorting the facts, jumping when he was released by police who didn't have enough evidence to hold him after questioning during an ongoing investigation and then the New Black Panthers issued a bounty... only what would anyone do if they tried to collect since Zimmermans not running and the law hasn't ordered his capture.
Like I said... wake up.
We need to discuss black on black murders to try finding ways to stop them or prevent them from happening... and we cannot allow race baiters like Al Sharpton to dictate how when his hate has already resulted in people getting killed because he inflamed them into doing it.
Do you care about this? Maybe not... Democrats certainly don't care and while you talk about FBI statistics... what are those statistics where the murderer was captured? That's where people get their stats... not the number of murder victims, but the number of people captured who committed those murders.
Why would people care when the media won't report black on black murders... but if a non black kills a black person, it's immediately a white man kills a black man. Only in the Trayvon Martin case... it wasn't.
Why is it wrong to point out that the racist media will not report about black people killing black people, will report about whites killing whites and will explode into a feeding frenzy if a non black person kills a black person?
You say we don't talk about whites killing whites... dude, the media does that all damn day long and all night long... how often do they report when it's a black person killing another black person? What's that you say??? Almost never... BINGO!

If their big concern is "justice", they should be in Chicago insisting that the city do more about all the murders there.

Moving to SC in 1990, I was shocked by the black on black crime. Augusta Ga had 27 murders last year. The majority of these are black on black. I think we are becoming numb to the stories.
As a whole I don't think white people get up at arms about things the same way. I have my theories why but I won't say here.
