Why do the progressives lie about why People oppose obama

Because if it's racism, even most conservatives would want to distance themselves from it and most conservative politicians would at least claim not to want the votes of such people...until election day. Then they'll take any vote they can get, even if it were David Duke's. They think the people are stupid enough to believe whatever they tell them and some of them even are.

A lot of dumb people haven't learned anything from history. They think Obama is a God of some sort, that he was sent to be our first black president-Stop right there- he is 1/2 white no matter how they try to play up he's black. Look at Obamachrist people, and the fainters and tear jerkers who by their puppy love actions are just like a lot of Beatle fans were back in the day. They follow him blindly, - just like the people did Jim Jones. And Hitler. That shows you a large part of the mentality of Obamanuts and why they react like they do. They used to call them useful innocents. Not learning anything from the past, they have earned the now name-useful idiots.

I am in solid agreement with most of the answers thus far. Liberals have issue with understanding or even recognizing logic when economic and ideologic facts are presented. Their entire premise is based around a 'feel good' foundation. When we point out these 'feel good' policies haven't worked, and in fact often produce the exact opposite result than what was intended, we get either a glazed over look or deflection of the discussion point.

Racism claims is one of their defense mechanisms. It's designed to disarm the opposition and get accused flustered into defending themselves against a fuzzy, BS, implication that one can niether prove nor disprove most of the time. I mean really, unless you come and claim to be a skin head or klansman, the hard evidence is circumstantial AT BEST. Likewise, what does someone do to prove themselves 'not a racist'? It becomes the modern day version of the Salem Witch Trials. It's just BS.

When their worldview is disconnected from the truth, it is hard for them to deny their worldview. I'd imagine it happens to everybody, but so much of progressivism is based on emotion, that it is particularly difficult. That and Progressive politicians and their sycophants are not afraid to play hardball, even if it means exaggerating a tad. ;)

Or out and out lying. Obama would still be a community organizer without the lies and deceit factor.

A lot of fool idiots are actually for communism, not knowing the end results. And how many years have we had wanna be black white people, so obvious from their very actions and talk, because they think it makes them look cool and not prejudiced? Inferiority complex of who they are for sure and not being proud of who they are. People should be able to be friends without putting on shows of trying to be something they are not, no matter the race or color. But many of us have observed this phenomena through the years.

Because they can't defend the true reasons we are against Obama.

I believe they continue to lie about why conservatives do not like Obama because it works. If you say something enough times, some people will believe you. The claims of racism started imediately after taking office, and has been thier number one defense for all actions taken. It was a useful tool because of political correctness. No one wanted to be labeled racist because of not liking the first black president. So it worked. Then it became the mantra of the left as a defense and excuse for everything under the sun. They continue to use it, because it still works. Look at the left bloggers on here. Many are convinced that racism is the only reason the right does not like Obama. It can also now be used to extend to Susan Rice or anyone else on the left who messes up and is colored.

However, those that are black on the right, will always be painted as Uncle Toms, or tokens. It must remain that way for the democrats to be the good guys defending the blacks and getting thier votes.

It has nothing to do with the opposition racism but their own. They have done one hell of a job of enslavement and that is the truth.

Because the ideology stinks and by useing the race card they hope to distract people away from the ideology.

They only know the talking points that the liberal media supplies them.

Their supreme IGNORANCE & HYPOCRISY.

They believe what MSNBC tells them.

They think that they can shame you and label you into submission by using the race card. It's basically what they learned in their bible, Alinsky Rules of confrontation

When I ask why my cousin dislikes Obama and he replies "I just don't think a black dude should be president," I have to consider that some of the opposition to Obama is, indeed, purely racism.

There are people out there who dislike Obama purely because of his race, and I've seen it.

That's nice, but what this blog is about is those of the liberal persuasion who will cry racism for merely disagreeing with the CIC. It's disingenuous and it's avoiding the true issues people have with Obama.

Doesn't matter, he has a right to that opinion. There are people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson who are racist against white people, may not make it right but they do have a right to their own opinion. Everyone has a right to disagree with politicians who are in office or CEO's of companies, many of whom are an assortment of races, sizes, genders etc., that doesn't make it racist. Basically the race card comes out to try and suppress that person's opinion especially when it comes to Obama. I really like it when they say a person is racist because Obama is a black man. Well I got news for them, he's a white man (50%), Arab (43%), and he's only 6% African. In reality they are then racist towards a white man...LOL

2. They have nothing, so racism is what they try to use in order to shut honest citizens up

I think it is a failure to see their own self interest that causes most people to oppose Obama. It is also a failure to see what is best for America. Unfortunately there appears to be a significant number of people who are racists also. There were also a significant number of blacks who voted for him just because he is black. That is also unfortunate.

Anyone whose vote and point of view is based on Obama's color is wrong.
