I am a libertarian myself, and while I support Gov. Johnson, I can also empathize with the Ron Paul supporters. However, I think they do need to realize eventually that there is no way the Republican Party is ever going to treat libertarians as anything more than second class citizens from a political context.

They are better than dealing with democrats for sure, but the only way we are going to grow as a movement is to do so on our own, not riding on the coat tails of the Republicans.

Romney's plan will increase the deficit? where do you see that?
As far as believing in the IRS? what does that mean?
He spoke out many times against the Fed, where have you been during the debates?
  • kyle Lordpho... 2012/08/13 00:34:16

Romney's plan will increase the debt: http://www.washingtonpost.com...

He support income tax meaning he supports the IRS. We need to abolish income tax....

Romney said the fed should not push for stimulus, but that from what I understand is as far as he went. Please share a link that says he did more than that...

He support lowering taxes, what do you mean he support income tax? he stated the taxes and regulation is strangling the economy
  • kyle Lordpho... 2012/08/13 23:45:51
    kyle
Does he want to abolish income tax? Nope.

He says that taxes and regulations are strangling the economy, but he does not want to get rid of them. He wants to change them.

    Lordphoton999 *AFCL*
No he did not, only people I can think of that wants to abolish income tax perhaps are the Libertarians.
He say he will lower the income tax for everyone and to get rid of the regulations that are strangling all the businesses, not merely change it.

His plan will lower income taxes, but will raise other taxes.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com...

If we actually have a small government (like what Romney claims he wants) we could afford the government without income tax. We did it for years before 1913...

Why do you read Washington compost and believe it to be the truth?
The link you provided is written by Lori Montgomery a known Liberal.

Here is what Newsbuster wrote about her.

WaPo Slips Liberal Dogma Into Report on Tax Cuts: GOP Trying to 'Deprive' Treasury
In general, there are two major sides to the tax cut debate.

One believes that Americans are entitled to keep what they earn, but that they cede some money to the government with the understanding that funding is necessary to enable the state to safeguard citizens' rights - the state's most fundamental function.

The opposing side holds, in short, that Americans are entitled to their wealth only to the extent that the rule of the majority - i.e. the government - allows them to keep it.

The Washington Post has apparently adopted and endorsed this latter view, also known as liberal tax policy, not only in its editorial stance, but throughout its "straight news" reporting operation.

WaPo reporter Lori Montgomery, for instance, believes that every dollar not collected in taxes is a dollar of which the federal government has been "deprived."

Oh an newsbusters doesn't have bias? You do know their subtitle is "Exposing liberal media bias". They don't even care about the conservative media bias?

I don't trust any source. Why don't you look for a source you deem unbiased or read this: http://www.politifact.com/new...

I know for a fact that there are media bias on the left but on the right, they tend to tell the truth.

  • Lordpho... kyle 2012/09/03 03:07:24

Yes I am serious, I watched both and I see the obvious bias on the left, just yesterday, NY time editor admitted the time is bias.
  • kyle Lordpho... 2012/09/03 17:27:53
    kyle
I happen to see the bias on both sides. Do you ever watch fox? It is just as bad as CNN and MSNBC.
  • Lordpho... kyle 2012/09/04 00:29:02
    Lordphoton999 *AFCL*
I watch Fox, and it is no way Bias as Msnbc, America Live is the News for Fox, don't mistake that for O'reilly Factor or Hannity Show

You are bias in your judgement.
  • Lordpho... kyle 2012/09/05 23:46:17

Nope, I am accurate in my judgement regarding the bias the main stream media and not on Fox News
  • kyle Lordpho... 2012/09/07 04:45:25
    kyle
Whatever. If you will not admit that fox is bias just like the other channels then there is no point in discussing this further.
  • Lordpho... kyle 2012/09/16 06:04:41

Kyle, please look at what's happening the past few days with the coverage of the attacks on our embassies and see what the reporters are doing to Mitt Romney .
Bias is all on the main stream media.
  • kyle Lordpho... 2012/09/16 21:48:02

"Bias is all on the main stream media."

I completely agree. Good thing fox is part of the main stream media.

Actually, Ron Paul did win a few primaries in Main, Massachusetts and even Iowa and Nevada, but was cheated through election fraud.

From YOUR link. : Paul has been running a significant delegate deficit overall, and this weekend's results don't change that: Paul has support from only 94 delegates compared to Romney's 856, and Romney's number doesn't include voting at-will party leaders, according to the Associated Press' updated tally Monday.

People say that they want the small government, rule of Natural Law and the Individual Liberty that Ron Paul talks about but that doesn't necessarily overcome people's insecurities or translate into practical political support when other cost are properly explained.

It is easy to say you want anything, it is another thing to actually do what is necessary to achieve it.

I think these RP supporters are liberals that don't give a damn about RP.They were trying to pull as many votes from the Republican as they could. If they were so unhappy with the obama team they would vote for anyone to get him out of office but they are still saying they are going to write in his name. It's just another one of obamas tricks to take away votes from the Republicans plain and simple.

I think it is apparent that you are clueless about political philosophy in general but then most modern "conservatives" are too stupid to see that they are nothing but spineless cheap talking big government thugs just like there more thuggish collectivist liberal cousins.

You can only drean! don't you wish you were man enough to do that. But at 53 and having your mom kick you out and being dumped by a wife that finally got smart and dumped your ass doing something like this on the internet just might make you look courageous to the other liberal idiots. So have at it.

People such as myself see the use of force as a purely necessary evil to be used as a last resort when reason is exhausted and in self defense of physical attacks ...period!

So no, I don't dream of it or wish it on anyone pal, and that's the difference between people like you and I. I simply put it there for you because I could tell you are an angry belligerent barroom brawl type who has irrational wet dreams about eagerly going below the belt to slander and attack others the split second that you get confused or others don't completely agree or comply with your childish little thug opinions and desires.

    Enjoy!

    Whoops...wrong vote.

Anyway, it's not necessarily what the people want, it's what they need. A decent jab of self-responsibility.
