Why do libs hate Sarah Palin.
I am reading Bernard Goldberg’s, “A Slobbering Love Affair”. He has some interesting comments on why Libs hate Sarah Palin as follows:
“What makes these liberals foam at the mouth is that this “white trash” (their observation), pro-life, church-going woman, who didn’t go to Harvard or Yale or Princeton, but who flitted from one second-rate school to another before she wound up (my God, they grounded), at the University of Idaho, became the most prominent woman in all of America!
They hate that. It wasn’t supposed to be that way. I drove them crazy with rage (even some right wing so called “journalist). She wasn’t one of them. She wasn’t even really a woman, as those feminist told us. She was…. A CONSERVATIVE!
And besides, what kind of real woman has five kids? And who names her kids Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig? The elites gasped, “What kind of low rent names are those?” I’ll bet you can’t find one kid in the entire Upper West Side of Manhattan whose name is Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper or Trig. No one!
And while we’re on the subject, what woman in her right mind has a baby with Down Syndrome? And what kind of mother lets her unmarried teenage daughter go through with a pregnancy and have a baby? Haven’t those hicks ever heard of abortions? Sure, well-off Manhattan kids with liberal parents get pregnant, too. But, my God, they don’t actually have the baby. If you’re going to Harvard (or Yale or Princeton) in the fall, you don’t have the baby, everybody knows that.
…. And if there is one thing those good, tolerant, open –minded liberals can’t stand, it’s ordinary”
In short, someone like Sarah Palin is a threat to the elite, the intelligentsia, the elitist media, the wealthy libs. She is an ordinary woman, in 2009, and that cannot be tolerated, in the world of snobs.

Is it that she is strong enough on her own that she doesn't need government to control her life? I'd really like to know too.

I did include the women in my comment, I know technically it's not sexism on their part, but they sure do nothing to defend her. Other than the fact that they hate her for being right, they are also jealous of her. Have you taken a good look at the women leaders on the left? Hatred makes you ugly!

That's a very good synopsis of what motivates them to hate her so much. It could be one of many things that make them hate her so. Who can really and honestly state how in the hell a liberal mind works, from some of their comments, I can clearly see, it's mostly bassackwards and illogical. Honestly, hate is such a strong word, I don't even think they understand it, and would summise that they might not hate her, they are merely jealous of her and apparently her notoriety of her good common sense and her work as governor of Alaska. They just gnash their teeth at the mere sound of her name and the only one they are harming is themselves with all the misplaced negativity. What they really need to do is take a good, long, and hard look at who they put in the white house...but sure as I'm sitting here typing this, they won't, it's just so much easier for them to believe everything that mutt says and chant his inane "hope" & "change" and mirror whatever he says...I'm not even sure they would realize what a joke their obama is if obama himself were to come out and tell them. Bunch of nuts!
