Why do Liberals think that government should take care of them from cradle to grave??

Yep,"only the strong should survive" in a Conservative state where those born with Social and Economic advantages are rewarded and promoted and those born with Social and Economic disadvantages are punished and ignored as a matter of principal.Conservatism cannot accept the fact of innate human capability and diversity and disregards the coincidence of birth,while conveniently contending that everyone born regardless where and into which socioeconomic situation,is equipped with the same potential and confronted with the same restrictions.

It is understandable therefore that those who were fortunate to be born into a wealthy and Conservative family social environment are ignorant of the social realities of the nations community.The most anti social conservative type though as history has proved,are those pseudo Conservatives who attribute themselves with the identity of conservatism attempting to replace their inferiority complex received after experiencing personal and social rejection.These are the type who are unable to accept their own imperfection-who in response therefore label themselves and identify themselves with Conservatism and obsessively crusade to discover the imperfection of others to protect their own ego.Hitler for one,was a classic example of this-a man who in his youth failed to reach is objectives,was rejected and could not accept the fault was within himself-he could not accept his own imperfection and convinced himself he was a victim of the imperfection of the society he lived in.When and while reaching power-his attitude attracted the same amongst the mass-a nation suffering from a destroyed national identity and ego and rejection.Thus in power the Nazis targeted the"weak"by punishment and the more capable and stronger were rewarded.Fascism will therefore see promoting the welfare state as providing welfare and not motivating everybody on the basis of equality while accepting the facts of human diversity.

These principals is what Conservatism feeds on and the more extreme conservative the more division between the weaker,less advantaged,the advantaged and elite.

The Magna Carta in England was made public in 1215(keep in mind 90% of the people couldnt read and write)which could be compared in principal to the American Constitution drawn up by the FF's(from the seventy FF's only 38 showed up to sign according to my research).In both cases,both declared the Constitutional laws of the land and both at the time were compatible to the time.But since the 13th century and the late 18th society the world has changed,-knowledge,morals and technology-its a very different world compared to that in History.Laws made in the past over a course of time HAVE to be examined today and revised if needed to be compatible to the society we live in today.

Of course that is a very dangerous thing in principal,but we cannot expect the guys who drew up the British Magna Carta and the American Constitution to have been able to visualize how society would develop in the future.And just because it is the law does not mean that it is right necessary(am sure you agree on that-as imagine a new universal Gun law is made for example).Times have changed and we have to adapt and laws need to be revised otherwise those laws made previously may or will hold us back.

A tyrannical government?. Did the American people choose the FF's to speak for them at the time or did the FF's choose themselves?.There were 4 million "Americans"living at the time and all a diversity of nationalities and religious beliefs(or not)etc.How much did the FF's consider the Indigenous native Indians and all other ethnic minorities?.What did the Constitution which they compiled do for them?.

We automatically accept and acknowledge an elite of 70 guys to have the right and authority to draw up a set of "ethic rules" of society-a society they personally visualized without question-and you question the government today elected by the people of America?. Sounds more to me a simple case of others not seeing things the way you do and so they are wrong and you are right.
