Now that's not remotely true, Nana. Who is it that is pushing to break unions in this country? Who is pushing these ridiculous "right to work for pennies" laws? Who is cutting pensions that people have worked their entire lives to earn? Did you know that the City of Scranton, PA has cut the salaries of firefighters and police officers to minimum wage? Ronald Reagan began a class war to eliminate the American Middle Class entirely and create a society in which a very small group controls all of the wealth of the nation and the vast majority are condemned to inescapable poverty. That's why the Republicans have worked to destroy our education system, because education is the best way to foster upward economic mobility. That's why the Republicans have been trying to destroy unions for the last 30 years, because unions provide stability, security and an opportunity to advance based on merit instead of nepotism. Liberals and Progressives don't want to be overlords.
