Why do Liberals hate the rich??

The question should be a Statement, "DONT STEAL, the government hates competition". Besides it's just who they are, unreasonable.

They are neither envious of the rich beyond what any other person would be regardless of political philosophy, nor do they hate them.

I don't have to hate my brother to want him to do his fair share of the house work. Nor do I have to hate my brother for taking steps to keep him from continually giving me swirlies because he's 5 years older than me and has behavioral problems.

We don't hate wealth, or the people who have it. We hate greed, and get angry at those who would use their wealth, to screw those who don't have it, in order to aquire more.

Funny... the rich are paying for food stamps, welfare and unemployment millions of people are getting.

Some are. Others are keeping their money in tax-shelters, which allow them not to pay for anything, including the roads which bring their product to the people, and the people to their product; the police forces who protect them; the fire-departments who can rescue them; the education systems which educate their work-forces; and the military which makes it possible for them to work over-seas.

0bama had 4 years to REFORM the tax code so that the rich would pay more on taxes but he didn't so now he is crying about the rich not paying their "fair" share. What a farce, it's his own fault that they don't pay their fair share but he ALWAYS has to blame somebody else. He is nothing but a weasel, belly sucking worm.

He's a president, not a king. There's not a whole lot that he could do without ANY Republicans willing to work with him on ANYTHING.

He had 2 1/2 years to do it while having a democrat congress and senate but he decided to pass 0blamerCare instead.

There have been some ultra-wealthy Americans who believed in giving back to the country that allowed them to gain so much wealth. Some of the best examples are Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller. Carnegie gave us some excellent, wise quotes. Here are 2 of the best of them

I'm a liberal (on some subjects, not all) and I believe he hit the nail on the head with those statements. I resent no one's wealth, and I wouldn't want to be super-rich under any circumstances. "Enough" is enough for me. It is degrading and simply WRONG to ascribe such low motives to me and my compatriots. We simply believe in fairness. We're not friggin' communists or socialists. Stop trying to paint us as if we were.

Not all liberals hate rich.It depends on your personal understanding.An ideology is just a mask for a lot of people they dont even strictly follow it.

The reality is that we don't hate the rich, but if the middle class and working poor are to survive then the rich are going to have to chip into the tax pot just like they have everytime this nation has run into this type of finianical period.

Check the history of our tax rates all the way back to the 1800's.
