Why do Democrats vote for Obama?

You really didn't want to hear any answer contrary to the two that you asked or you anticipated everyone agreeing with your suggestions. Many people vote for Democrats for the same reason that you vote for Republicans, one because it's your party. Personally I voted and supported the Democrat party, because the Republicans have flaked out. I began working when I was 13 years old. I didn't stop working until I was 73 years old. The government has never taken care of any of the people in my family, my father was a steel mill worker, and my grandfather was a coal miner, my mother and grandmother did day work (you know cleaned White people's houses/the pay was little or close to nothing) none the less, we had good upbringings. Likewise, I reared my children and worked as a professional office worker, retired in 1993 and then retired again in 2009 as a Rehabilitation Secretary for the County. Two of my children after leaving college, served four years in the United States Air Force, my youngest daughter went on and finished college, and received her Masters, her son has done likewise, just received his Masters, her youngest son is in his Junior year of high school and he has a 4.0 GPA, I doubt that he'll be needing the government to take care of him, and after college like his brother he does anticipate working. Now I get Medicaid/Medicare and I deserve to receive it, I paid into the system, as did I pay into Social Security and m pension plan, both of which the Republicans would like to take away from me, which is nothing more than stealing from the innocent. Had Cheney and Bush not messed things up, no one would be seeking any assistance from the government, and due to the fact that Republicans have turned into such rip offs, I'd say that's why even many Republicans are voting Democratic. Think about it!
