They hate President Obama because he embodies everything the American dream entails which includes: being born to a modest hard-working family, enduring hardships most people do not overcome with such grace and dignity, and being successful despite all of the disadvantages he had thrown at him. In other words, President Obama is the culmination of everything Republicans like to believe they represent but when measured against it, fail miserably. He is a self made man who is more than happy to tell people that he didn't do it all by himself.
Not only is he a Democrat, is a constant reminder of what a real American is: not a corporate slave, not a trust-fund baby, not a stingy "I got mine so F' you" shortsighted scarred little animal who needs a daddy figure to feel safe.
They hate him because they are jealous and completely vacant of ideas on how to deal with the economy.
Why Do Conservatives Hate President Obama?

From the first days of his presidency, Barack Obama has proposed policies to help middle class, working class and poor Americans including supporting tax cuts for the middle class. He's been a strong advocate for women's rights, workers' rights and, more recently, he's expressed support for gay marriage. He's been an advocate for protecting the environment. He's advocated policies that will help create jobs. His health care proposal has become law and been upheld by the Supreme Court. It will help millions of Americans gain access to health care and help small businesses. He's proposed investments in renewable energy and our failing infrastructure. The latter two proposals, if enacted into law, can create millions of new jobs for middle class, working class and poor Americans.
However, at every opportunity, conservatives have obstructed the work of Congress and, in other ways, done everything they can to derail economic recovery. One prominent conservative hate radio host famously declared he hoped Barack Obama failed. A conservative United States Senator stated his primary objective was not the success of our economy and, in the process, the success of middle class, working class and poor Americans but, instead, defeating President Obama. Their efforts are proof of how extreme conservatives have become.
Understanding that President Obama has proposed policies to help all Americans and stated that sacrifice must be shared, why do conservatives, using this website and similar sites, express an extreme hatred of the President of the United States?
Since 99.999% of conservatives, using this and similar websites, aren't part of the 1%, what possible reason(s) explain the intense conservative hatred of Barack Obama. There are only five.

The progressive ideology embodied by President Obama is too grand, too bold and therefore too frightening for such small minded regressive's to handle.
OKAY LETS LOOK AT THE MOST RED CONSERVATIVE STATE IN OUR UNION....

I'm sure a controlling, self important progressive will not agree. They are oblivious to facts when it comes to Obama.
For the record, the Troubled Asset Relief Program (T.A.R.P - signed into law October 3, 2008). was the brain child of George W. Bush, as was the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 (enacted February 13, 2008). You should know that Paul Ryan and the bulk of the Republican leadership argued FOR the stimulus when it was Bush's idea.
I find this selective memory syndrome very curious. I also find that it's highly unattractive, especially in an individual who seems to savor a totally unwarranted superiority complex.
And, I find it funny how Republicans take the credit for the Clinton's surplus using the reasoning that the House Controls spending but fail to use the same excuse when they have the house and spending is up. Weird huh?
Under President Clinton's economic policies (the Balanced Budget bill) the economy grew by 4.4% per year, well above the 3% per year which was the highest level of growth achieved under H.W. Bush. Additionally, unemployment fell from 6.8% to 3.9% over the same period. Further, personal income grew by 7.5% per year after the passage of the bill, up from the 5.2% achieved under H.W. Bush's policies. Industrial production rose by 5.6% per year after the bills passage. From the passage of the bill until the end of Clinton's term, the Dow Jones Industrial average rose from 3,651 to 10,788 -- a stunning 26.7 percent per year. That positively DWARFS the historically healthy increase of 10 percent a year for the two and a half years prior to the bills passage.
Now, I realize that these are all facts, that there are some numbers and big words, and that they will conflict with your personal "reality" and for all of these reasons the actual, factual reality will therefore be difficult for you to comprehend and accept. However, you need to accept that truth is not contingent upon your approval.
You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are NOT entitled to your own set of facts.
