This is sad. I am conservative, and so are my friends, even my Gay friends are conservatives. There are many out their that are homophobic (ewe I hate that word), but not all conservatives hate Gays. I even support same sex marraige, I am sorry, the Constitution says we are all equal, so, we are all equal in my book. That does not mean I think one group of people should be able to get away with bad behavior because they may or may not be a minority. It is bad manners to make out on a bench in a mall for "straights" or for "gays". Assaulting people is against the law for everyone, not just one group, as long as EVERYONE is treated equally under the law, and is expected to behave equally under the law, and suffer the same consequences under the law, I nor any other conservative that I know really cares either way.
There is such a thing as a gay conservative. Hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but I happen to know one. lol He believes in Jesus too. I know, those folks aren't supposed to exist, huh.
They only have one excuse, it's because they're christian. Their imaginary best friend makes it clear that homosexuals must die. This is why christianity has no place in the modern world.
First of all it is only phony conservatives who hate gays. Real conservatives like Goldwater didn't care if someone was gay or not. I think a lot of phony conservative hate gays because deep down they are afraid that they might be gay.
