Why did the Democrats purposely destroy the family unit in the African American community?

EXCERPTS: The Democrat Party has probably done more long-term harm to the black community than the KKK ever did, even though they had a strong hand in creating that also.
The Democrats created the nanny state where women are rewarded with more welfare money with every child they have as long as the father isn’t living with the mother. Kids grow up without a positive male role model, drop out of school, get into trouble, end up dead or in prison and some see the welfare state as their only option and the cycle starts all over again. This has destroyed the family unit in the African American community.
One way to answer that question would be it is essential to Democrats to have as many people as possible dependent on government. What they have done to achieve this is disgraceful and almost genocidal–using taxpayer money to promote illegitimacy, broken homes and generational dependency–all so they can have dependable voters on election day.

+11To keep them down and dependent. The only sure way to secure the votes they need to stay in power.
They don't even know what has hit them this time; the big white govt is controlling their every move through it's programs and handouts.
They can never be free because they refuse to give back in any measure what they have taken as was given to them for existing. It is that simple.
They have no one to blame but themselves for this situation.
If democrats wanted to forward minorities in this country, they would limit entitlement programs and heavily push an agenda aimed at members of minority communities becoming educated in colleges and vocational schools; instead democrats want to fork over taxpayer dollars toward food, housing, etc. with no personal accountability.
By keeping the newly freed slaves unorganized and without a solid home and family life, they could continue to manipulate the blacks by offering freebies for their votes. Uneducated and newly having to provide for themselves, the slaves welcomed the "assistance" from the Democrats as well as feared them, thanks to the KKK. Now, almost 200 years later, the Democrats have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams as the family life in the black community is controlled by Jackson, Sharpton, and others who feed on maintaining ignorance, fear-mongering, and racism. They will do anything to keep black America slaves to something and now it's government. The Irony is that a black man is now leading the party.
Ultimately, the blame belongs on you and me, the average American taxpayer, who didn't pay close enough attention to what our ' political elites ' were doing all along....
The first time in history that blacks were segregated in our nation's military history came on his watch. The armed forces were not desegregated again until Dwight David Eisenhower to the reins and led the nation to the abolition of racial desegregation in our armed forces.
Wilson and his followers initiated the emasculation of the black male and destruction of the black family by replacing the father with the government as bread winner. Through propaganda, the Dimocrats even made black males willing participants in their own social castration.
