How does one so adamantly defend and support this administration and sleep at night? Is it because they feel they are somehow exempt from taking responsibility for their mistake or even admitting to it? Is it retribution, ego, or just pure blind hatred for those who dare cling to a differing opinion? Are they just addicted to always being right?
Admitting you are wrong is associated with high self esteem.
Self-esteem is
that feeling of value you place on yourself based on your
view of your past
history, your body, and your thoughts.
Admitting you are wrong is associated with resourcefulness. Low
self-esteem
makes a person less resourceful and prone to being addicted
to being right. A
person who is able to admit being wrong is more
resourceful because he
believes he has the right to develop new
capabilities.
Admitting to being wrong creates an environment of
tolerance, not just
personal tolerance, but tolerance of others.
Admitting your wrong creates
open-mindedness.
Those who never retract their opinions love themselves more than they
love
truth.--Joseph Jouber

I also thought things would CHANGE for the better, and that a "black man in the White House" would get this country out of the rut it's been in for the last 20 or so years. Instead, we have more of the same. O's politics have been in service of his campaign contributors. In his 4 years in office we've seen an unconstitutional Health Care reform act passed, unprecedented govt "bailouts" of corporations to save them from their own mismanagement, a "stimulus" package that did not stimulate the economy, record unemployment and people who have exhausted the 99 weeks given to them and STILL cannot find work, "Fast and Furious" govt scandals, the Federal govt fighting states' rights to enforce FEDERAL border laws, US/NATO meddling in the Middle East, stirring up popular revolts against foreign governments who "don't play ball" with them, I could go on forever.
None of this Hope and Change we were promised ever panned out. If someone fails to deliver on their promises after given 4 years, why should I trust them to live up to their word wi...

None of this Hope and Change we were promised ever panned out. If someone fails to deliver on their promises after given 4 years, why should I trust them to live up to their word with another 4 years? But he sure has us distracted with "important" issues such as Gay Marriage. Yeah, a 2% minority gets to dictate what the other 98% should believe, even though this issue will do NOTHING to solve our much bigger issues. Way to go America! Good to see your priorities are in such good order!
Like I said ... !
and the programming has continued & has been reinforced ,,,
look at the living section of soda head "under mind contol " it will explain alot !
but they dont realize there programmed "DUPPED " and never will realize there conditioned , and will DENY IT .. THERE PROGRAMMED TO !
accept no guilt /have no concience . remorse . and are narcisstic !
but they dont realize there programmed ,, and will deny it & cant help them selves ,,,thats stupid !
but out of empathy for them we'll use the phrase of unable to use common sense !
How you doing Baba! We are getting ready to blow the Memphis pop stand and head north for a family visit. Then we hit the road to NC. I got an offer for a perm place on the staff of a big medical group (11 hospitals) in Rodanthe, NC on the outer banks. You know me. A grass shack with a pool and a beach is heaven. The other option is Deer Park Florida. Either way I'm going coastal. The bidding wars are on.
For some of us it's not as important to have a big house, location is more important because its not about the destination.... its about the journey.
Who loves ya baby?
Headed for eastern Montana for some varmint shooting Monday for a week with MONGO! Got to go fishing in upper B.C., Canada a month ago too and killed 'em! It's been three years since I've been able to get away!
You guys be safe and enjoy every day!

Kathleen Sebelius, President Obama’s nominee to become Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary, said in a letter obtained by the AP that she made “unintentional errors” on her taxes and has corrected her returns from three different years. In the letter, which she had sent to senators and dated March 31, 2009, Sebelius wrote that she had made changes related to charitable contributions, business expenses, and the sale of a home, according to the AP. The wire service reports that she and her husband paid just over $7,000 in back taxes, along with $878 in interest, for the years 2005-2007.
