I am not allergic, I can handle the truth, it is those who can't handle telling the truth that are allergic to it!

I have always wanted truth, because without it we know nothing.
Even when truth hurts it is better than a pretty lie.

Apparently TRUTH is in the eye of the beholder. It is hard to put your finger on the exact truth about anything.

I'm a scientist, its my job to look for the truth.

It all depends on what you consider "Truth" to mean. Are we talking a personal truth, meaning something a person has made the decision to believe is true, almost as a religious belief? Or are we talking about things that are objectively true, that have real world facts to back them up?
Some are allergic to one kind of truth, others to the other. I do not know whether to look at it as funny, or scary, how so many people are willing to settle for a personal "truth" at the expense of objective truths. There are many out there who are unwilling to believe what the facts clearly show are true. And they give money to candidates, and vote.
