Why are some people on this site obsessed with Black Americans?

Such an angry black woman, so victimized and sooo irrational. Where does all this hate come from? What did your parents do to you as a kid? Did they refuse to get you a Ken doll to go with your Barbie? Is that it? Get over it and move on. lol

    yawn

If that was suppose to rile me up, you failed completely.

To answer your ridiculous questions though:

    1) No hate; I'm not the one blaming Liberal/Conservative media for everything. I enjoy life and have a lot of things to be thankful for.

    2) My mom worked two jobs and I love her; great mom. My step dad who has worked in the police force for over 20 years and is a vet; great guy.

    3) Never liked Ken or any other type of barbie; next.

    4) Get over blaming Liberals for everything and generalizing Black Americans.

I've never seen a site so obsessed with disparaging African Americans. You can't mention the word race without being accused of playing the race card because that's their new line to justify their racism.
If it's any consolation, they do the same thing to gays, Hispanics and women who stand up for their rights as well. Too many good ole white boys and good ole white women on this site ,and they feel safe venting their fear and frustration here because they have so many compatriots to back them up in their ignorance.

Wrong; Che isn't Black, and so on, there are only two I can count on hand that were from African descent. 99% of race based generalizations on this site isn't coming from Black people.

"The true racists are those that cannot except the fact that ANYONE can disagree with a black man."

Wrong again; the true racists are people who generalize a whole group of people and I have seen you do it multiple of times.

Poor policies have destroyed the black family unit.

Since the Black Panther Party was acquitted of wrongdoing by Eric Holder after the last election, there is the potential that the BPP may commit more wrongdoings in the upcoming election.

    Obama sucks.

The NBP were acquitted by Bush DOJ and Obama DOJ (Eric Holder), because they have yet to commit a violent crime or act of violence. Right now they are just hate speech, so there goes that.

This isn't about Obama so there goes that.

"Poor policies have destroyed the black family unit."

Now here we go; thanks, but my family unit is just fine. Now explain to me how 42 million Black Americans, most with jobs, homes, etc..have been destroyed?

They were tried for tampering with the federal electoral process (which is a federal crime). The DOJ deals with more than just violent crimes, so your point is moot (red herring).

Also, there are white people associated with the BPP, so I'm not sure how mentioning that organization singles out black people (as you suppose).

"They were tried for tampering with the federal electoral process (which is a federal crime). The DOJ deals with more than just violent crimes, so your point is moot (red herring)."

No; the NBPP wasn't tampering with the federal electoral process, but committing hate speech. No one was prevented from going inside and declaring their vote, so once again your point is moot. Yes the DOJ doesn't deal with just violent crimes, but if anyone wasn't let through and the police wasn't there, then some charges would have been brought forth.

"Also, there are white people associated with the BPP, so I'm not sure how mentioning that organization singles out black people (as you suppose)."

Very few and there are barely any Black people who associate with them as well. The lies perpetrated as many Black Americans being sympathetic towards the NBPP from numerous posts on here are distortion and actually a flat out lie.

What on earth are you talking about? The suit was civil, not criminal, so your point on violent crime is a total red herring. Secondly, the 'civil' suit was filed under the voting rights act, which means that the chief issue was voter intimidation, not hate speech (i.e., tampering with the federal electoral process).

"Instead, in January 2009, less than two weeks before the Bush administration left office, the civil rights division of the Department of Justice filed a civil suit under the voting rights act against four defendants, namely, Minister King Samir Shabazz, Jerry Jackson, NBPP chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz, and the NBPP itself."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

Have you actually researched the case?

As for your comment about whites not being part of the BPP (or NBPP), I have read books and essays by Angela Davis, Eldridge Cleaver (Kwame Ture), and David Horowitz (who is white), all of whom were members of the BPP. You stating that the BPP doesn't have whites is - without question - false. The questions asked by the poster had nothing to do with blacks in general; it had everything to do with the BPP, which is composed of both blacks and whites.

As for your comment on Obama, you're correct. None of the links actually mentioned him. I stand corrected.

    As for your comment...

As for your comment on black Americans and black immigrants, I was specifically mentioning black U.S. citizens, not immigrants (I agree, however, that immigrants from northern Africa are probably wealthier since, if they weren't rich, the U.S. wouldn't give them visas to work here; you also have to note that there are a lot of white and Arabic N. Africans, not just blacks). Black Americans are much poorer than whites.

These are the povery stats concerning black Americans:

As you can see, blacks are (unfortunately) much worse off than whites.

The majority are Black Africans; I stated Nigerians, Kenyans, people from Ghana, and Egypt. Those are the ones that do the best and are at the top; so that would be predominantly Black Africans and Arabs. In addition most of them make more than the average citizen, more degrees then any other group, whether it be native or other foreign immigrants.

From your links I only saw population growth with the exception of one and it still proves my point. The "Majority" of Black Americans are not below the poverty line and for the ones that are, the "Majority" work.

"Stats have shown that Black Americans and African immigrants have create a network that could make them the 16th richest country in the amount of money accumulated. That is correct as well, which I stated previously. The combined income of the Black population despite setbacks and other factors from the past; the projection of wealth would equate to the 16th richest country. Do White Americans have a greater accumulative wealth? Yes. Do White American income bear more than Black Americans? Yes. Do first and second generation African Americans accumulate more income than Whites and every other group? Yes.

First you stated that the DOJ didn't prosecute because it wasn't a violent crime (red herring). Then you stated that the BPP wasn't prosecuted for tampering with a federal election, but hate speech (which is false, since the DOJ - a department of the federal government - won't file charges directly unless federal law has been impinged). Also, the wiki source is accurate; to see evidence of this, all you have to do is look up the citations from the wiki page concerning the case.

I did not deny that N. African immigrants made more than traditional U.S. citizens. This is because most immigrants - not including Mexican and C. America immigrants - make more than U.S. citizens on average. It doesn't matter whether they're from Europe, Asia, Africa or Australia - the government won't let them come here unless they have a job, college degree or both.

Note that this doesn't mean that N. Africa isn't a mess. Most of the lucky ones are able to escape. lol

I never said that the majority of blacks were poor (straw argument). So, if you kindly would, stop using quotation marks around the word "majority". I merely stated that the poverty rate in the African American community is MUCH higher than in other ethnic groups, especially relative to whites and Asians. This fact has no been refu...

    "27.4%
"Poverty rate in 2010 for blacks."

    http://www.infoplease.com/spo...

"Many working class Black Americans struggle to obtain affordable housing. More than half of all African Americans rent and 53% of those spend more than 30% of their income for their rent. 30% is the recommended threshold that a family should pay for housing costs."

"Poverty has always been a challenge for the Black community. Although poverty conditions for Black America have improved, the rates are still staggering when compared to that of all Americans. 41% of single mother Black families are living in poverty compared to only 7 percent of married-couple Black families."

    http://www.blackdemographics....

Finally, all immigrants make more than U.S. citizens. European, African, Asian and Australians are not permitted to come to this country unless they either have college degrees or a job. However, they're the overwhelming minority of the population.
