Why Are Republicans So Stupid?

They get six years of free reign during which they drive the country into a ditch. Not just any ditch, either--a snow-filled ditch with a pond of thin ice at the bottom, far, far away from the nearest gas station. Then, they start losing. So, instead of asking themselves why they are losing, they double down, and lose some more.
Then, they finally begin to wonder why they are losing. But they stubbornly refuse to believe that people might not like their ideas. What they do know is that the Democrats used social networking technology to their benefit during the 2008 election cycle. So, they go all in for the Twitter. And, they notice that a message that seemed to resonate with voters was that Bush never listened to anyone else's ideas and just did whatever he wanted. People didn't like it. So, in their infinite stupidity, they've decided that if they can liken President Obama and the Democrats to terrorists/Hitler/socialists/fascists who don't care what the opposition thinks, people will vote for them again.
But here's the rub: Bush actually didn't ever listen to any opposing points of view and he did run roughshod over the nation for eight years, stripping civil liberties, allowing corporations to raid the store, and giving the rest of the world a great big middle finger. And, Democrats did use social networking technology to successful effect during the 2008 election cycle, but it was because they used the technologies to disseminate their ideas. It's not the technology. It's what you do with it.
Yelling the same lies over and over doesn't make them true. I think a four-year-old child can grasp that concept. Actually, I'm pretty sure a two-year-old child can as well. So why are Republicans using Twitter basically to do just that? If they claim to hate communism so much why have they taken philosophy from Vladamir Lenin ("A lie told often enough becomes truth") and made it the basis, core, and strategy of their political playbook? Mind you, it worked for a FOR A WHILE (i.e. 2002 midterms and 2004 elections). But you'd think after the beating they took in 2006, and the absolute undressing of a blowout in 2008, they'd surely get it. But not "these" republicans. McConnell, Boehner, Bachmann, Palin, McCain, Cantor, and many others and the minions who support their tried and FAILED ways still will not revise or "CHANGE" the playbook.
They remind me of a bad sports team with a even worse coach. It's like "OK team, listen up! No matter how bad we're getting beat and how much we lose, we're going to stick to the game plan. It doesn't matter if the opposing team know our playbook to he letter, and the fans have even figured it out. We will stay the course.
In other words, why are they so dumb?
Another point NOT taken from the American people they just seem to have pretend didn't happen and have ignored. The republicans did not learn one thing in the New York political race when they did not back a sure winner (Dede Scozzafava) and went with a so called "far right" person (Doug Hoffman). They lost the seat that was sure to be winner because the woman would not dance to their so called "far right" tune.
They have the same problem in Florida and if Charlie Crist runs as an independent they are guaranteed to lose the seat. They are now begging Crist to drop out and not run for they would rather have a someone that can be bought to do as they tell him than a winner that will do all he can to make America a better place by working with everyone to get the best things for this country. They would rather lose the seat than to have a winner they cannot tell what to do.
Just maybe Texas and Arizona need to pay attention to the 23rd congressional district of New York and vote for the Democrat. In Texas for the republican gubernatorial race you have in each corner (Rick Perry vs. Kay Bailey Hutchinson) campaigning on the platform of who can be the biggest far-right nutjob who seeks even more disrespect, disagreement and discord with the President and Democrats. The same exact thing is going on in Arizona (John McCain vs. J.D. Hayworth) as if that state haven't excreted enough political poo to keep stepping in.
Again I pose the question.... Why Are Republicans So Stupid?
*Sane minded independent thinking republicans/conservatives who truly stick to conservative core values (i.e. Lincoln, T. Roosevelt, Eisenhower, M.L. King), this a blog does not concern you, except in the case that you look at the type of said republican/conservative mentioned above and just have to "face palm" in disgust and dismay*

Government shutdown or not, there's a new $100 bill in town -- and apparently, people love it!
If Congress doesn't agree on how the U.S. will pay its bills by October 1st, the federal government will shut down. But how concerned is the average American? Not very.
Ever since President Obama's re-election back in November, the media hasn't stopped reporting about the ruffled course of the Republican party. So who's the future face of the GOP? Find out how the public voted.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has been at the center of media coverage for a while now. But more recently, the buzz has been about his proclaimed political party -- and whether or not he should change it.
