Few colleges and universities allow tenure for those who express conservative sentiments. Research grants go to those who devise programs consistent with the progressive government faithful.
Then there are the ones who really hate America. They think we dont deserve to be as successful and exceptional as we have been in the past, and we should become just another anonymous country under a one world single party government.

When Bernard Goldberg was posed the question regarding liberal angst whenever FOX news is brought up, his answer is, well… rational.

I highly recommend Bernard Goldberg's 2002 book, BIAS, that details the liberal bias of the media, with a wealth of polls and examples. The media IDENTIFY THEMSELVES as liberal, by an 80% margin. And are actually far to the left of even the Democrat party.
Liberals still support Obama because:
1) They have the vast majority of the media on their side, to spread Obama's propaganda, and selectively omit or downplay any favorable news about Republicans.
2) Liberals are fully indoctrinated, and have completely shut off their minds to any facts that contradict their pre-conceived biases. Thjey are utterly immune at this point to facts. "Don't confuse me, I've already made up my mind."
Such as Obama's own CBO calls his budget spending unsustainable.
Such as Obama's slashing our military with "sequestration".
Such as multiple examples of Obama declaring war on the American people ( Suing Arizona for defending its borders the Feds won't defend; Ramming through Obamacare despite 53% of the people saying they didn't want it, up to 56% now, buying the votes to pass it with billions in tax dollar from the voters who opposed it, operation fast-and furious; hollowing out our military with "sequestration", and on and on.)

OBAMANOMICS by Timothy Carney is a great book that explains how campaign finance infects both parties, but how the corporate feeding frenzy under Obama far surpasses anything previous to it. I think (I hope!) that in its non-partisan language that is critical of both parties, it might convince some liberals that Obama's policies actually hurt most the middle-class and poor Obama fronts to be about protecting, while enriching a few corporations that back his crony capitalism, like Goldman-Sachs, GE, Pfizer, and several other large Obama supporters.
