Why are people so driven by politics that they go around insulting people that do not agree with them?

Thank you for this question. There are many who troll on here and others who just can't have a reasonable conversation. They think it's cute or funny or makes their inflated egos seem important to them only, cuz you and me and the rest of us just think those people are small minded jerks. This is probably the only place they feel important.

They are immature. one of my biggest pet peeves is those stupid anti-liberal questions. THEY"RE FOOKING EVERYWHERE!! It's why I stay away from anything to do with politics..

Could be upbringing, genetics, poor social environment, malnutrition of the body and mind, 24/7 Fox news for a period of 25 plus years; you name it, it could be any number of things.

You do not similarly insult people you do not agree with? I am fairly certain nobody else has the same moniker here that you do.

However, to answer, people tend to let their emotions and anger get the better of them and it makes them unreasonable. I never let people like this bother me because angry people are always prone to mistakes in judgement, which gives me the upper hand always.
