Why are most Celebrities Democrats?

1. You write, "On eight of 13 questions about politics, Republicans outscored Democrats by an average of 18 percentage points, according to a new Pew survey titled 'Partisan Differences in Knowledge.'" I actually just took this survey for fun and the only thing it measures is how well one matches the correct political party with the political position. It tells one nothing about education and political affiliation. In case you were wondering, I got 13 out of 13.

2. The following is just nonsense, because no such bulk of evidence exists. At least it doesn't as produced from unbiased sources. "The Pew survey adds to a wave of surveys and studies showing that GOP-sympathizers are better informed, more intellectually consistent, more open-minded, more empathetic and more receptive to criticism than their fellow Americans who support the Democratic Party."

3.The graphs you posted are from a terribly biased book by Joe Fried. He plays with numbers and despite his overtures to objectivity presents his "study" or "findings" in a most nonobjective way possible. Mr. Fried has an obvious ideological bent, and his "facts" support his position; they do not reflect reality. In fact, Since 2000, the more education one has the more likely one is to vote Democrat. Conversely, since that same election, the less education one has the more likely one is to vote republican notwithstanding Mr. Fried's "analysis"

In reading your responses and in gauging your intellectual prowess, I am inclined to view you as relatively representative of most conservatives in so far as the ideas are small minded, the ideology shallow, and a total understanding of the world is minimal.
