Why are most Celebrities Democrats?

Most celebrities are under fire to be involved with community and social issues as part of their status in society. Much like the wealthy elite who held social status, celebrities do this to make themselves look like they are part of a social structure we would expect them to be part of.

Most aren't leftwing but portray themselves this way. How can you tell? Simply look at them when they get caught in scandals or things like not paying their taxes when they condemn everyone else for not paying their taxes.

Look at Michael Moore, mr big wig liberal whose personal fortune is over $70 million now yet, all he ever does is demand the government get involved to help people. He went on a campaign a few years ago fighting to get the US government to buy water purification equipment that was relatively cheap... but those greedy sum bitches in Washington DC and the political right wouldn't pay for them. they cost a couple of thousand apiece but when he was asked if he had purchased any of the units, he said no because it wasn't his place to do what the government should be doing.

In other words, he's doing exactly what he accused the wealthy fat cats he's always attacking... passing the buck to have others pay the cost while they themselves won't spend a dime of their personal fortunes to help anyone unless there's something financial to be gained by doing it.

People like Michael Moore make me sick. The man is extremely wealthy but wants me and you to pay for what he wants so he can claim he's Mr Caring when he could have bought enough water purification units to help all those people in South America for less than a million dollars of his own wealth... what a bloody hypocrite as while he's wasting his time trying to get you and me to pay for this... he could have already done it himself and helped tens of thousands of people who need clean drinking water.

Many celebrities are like that which is why they get involved in these social movements but give almost nothing to the cause beyond their presence.
