What's next....Multiple marriage partners? Underage kids for the Muslims like back in their homeland? How about with their pet ape?
Where does this can of worms end after you open it?
Republican positions, even from the most curmudgeonly, (e.g., Dick Cheney) seem to be evolving, Since MOST Americans now seem to support gay marriage, resistance is futile.
"I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant." - Martin Luther King Jr. (1929 - 1968)
It might not be the norm for children to grow up without fathers, but I'd say it's pretty common.
How could being adopted by lesbians possibly be worse than bouncing around in foster care?
Your answer really doesn't seem to have anything to do with the question.
You're going to have to come up with a *much* better argument. Being raised by homosexual parents may not be ideal, but it's *much* better than bouncing from one home to the next where a kid isn't loved.
I'm sure some of them are great. But the vast majority are just places for the kid to hang out at, hoping to be adopted.
If your number is anywhere near accurate (and I'm pretty sure you just made it up), I'm willing to bet it doesn't hold true for kids in foster care.
And I have to totally disagree.
Watching your kid sister get brutally murdered by your straight parents would be worse than having gay parents.
I'm sure I could come up with other examples.
I'm just saying that gay parents who *want* to raise a kid are more likely to produce a decent child than a straight couple who are really just in it for the money.
And I know straight couples who've done as much damage as possible.
Or were you objecting to something else in my post?
Personally, I'm pretty convinced that "conservatives" (i.e. Bible thumpers) are anti-gay because their churches teach them to hate. Which is, really, a sad indictment on the state of modern Christianity.
What am I wrong about?
