Why am I now hearing a left-wing, Progressive, Democrat CO-AUTHOR of Obamacare suggest that the BEST way to deal with this law is to let the PEOPLE VOTE ON IT? - If you had a choice do you prefer a November VOTE on it, or the SCOTUS decision?

I feel that it will be the way I would vote anyway....They are questioning the Constitutionality of it as do I....it will be voted down.

If there was such a thing as a Federal Referendum. Which there is not! Only States have that right!

The only people in the federal gov't are Representatives from your State! Even the president is elected by Representatives. Ever heard of the Electoral College? This is a Republic not a Wrong headed Democracy! Therefore it is an extension of State's rights that voting occurs in the Federal Gov't. This is the problem. People believe in an imperial Federal Gov't. When in fact it is nothing like what the Constitution created!

since i trust nothing the government does ..put it to a vote . better yet , just get rid of the howling jerkoff in the white house and repeal it . the ins. companies and the medical profession are screwing us already ..do we really need the the government to help em . what has the government done that was affordable ?

The people are too easily misled. The majority in some states actually believe the President is a Muslim. We have become a nation that is too misinformed to let the people play much of a role in making laws or policy.

We have had enough of not upholding the Constitution with this bill. We have 3 branches of government, Executive, Legislative and Judicial. This provides the checks and balances for the republic. Should such a vote be taken it would undermine the necessity of the SCOTUS and it effectiveness in our form of government.

A vote of the people would be lengthy. It, too, I am afraid, would end up in the SCOTUS. This could take a few years to be decided. To try to override the decision of the present Court would be considered unprescidented. While this process was moving forward, the health care mess could go into effect and in reality create a enormous hardship on the citizens. The Court will vote on the facts as presented and their relation to the Constitution. Too many of us are disenchanted and fail to remember what a strong and powerful document the Constitution is in its relationship to the executive and legislative s and judicial branches.

The People do not vote in anything Federal! It is strictly a province of the States!

Mainly because the decision will come down much sooner (presumably June) than a November vote. The sooner this law can be struck down, the better. Plus, the odds of this happening are much better (because it truly is an unconstitutional law) than putting it to a vote, because voters' opinions can be changed through campaigning, whether honest or not, between now and then. Voters' opinion doesn't change the constitutionality of the law. It's still unconstitutional either way.

Yep when they dont have a problem transfering guns to cartels , They wouldn`t having problem transfering papers to illegals , Which is probably happening now
