It isn't up to this brain damaged zealot to decide he's allowed to round up minorities on what growing evidence suggests is often made up and false charges or nothing more than trivial violations then throw them in his tent city jail and force them to listen to Opera music while wearing pink underwear while enduring heat conditions over 140 degrees. Guess what, that's called ABUSE.

Clearly Joe Arpaio at the very least is a border line sadist that gets his jollies by inflicting mental torture and abuse on minorites. That makes this wacko sheriff nothing less than a sick animal that should be spending his remaining years in a mental hospital, not roaming freely abusing his office hiding behind a tin badge and also using the power of his office by charging his political opponents with false and totally made up criminal charges. THINGS this idiot has been charged with doing and found guilty of doing and has been lectured on by both federal and states judges.

Joe Arpaio might be a hero to some, which is strange since a person doing his job shouldn't be a hero. That person should be nothing but a person doing his/her job well. Time for promotion.

This character has been the subject of several news media stories. He's a sadist. For those not familar with the term a sadist is someone that obtains pleasure from inflicting pain on others. Such torture can be either physical, mental or a combination of both. Clearly anyone observing this lunantic sees he gets his kicks abusing the jail inmates in his charge.

The racist charge is confrimed by the vast majority of jail inmates that his gang of thugs with a badge have rounded up, almost all minorites, mostly Mexican, some no doubt illegals. BUT that does not give this sadist the right to abuse people suspected of wrong doing? Hell no.

I like what he does, but like the point you made earlier, these are people that, mostly have not been convicted of anything yet. If they had, it would, for the most part not be any problem for me. Although some people never belong in jail, they should be getting help instead, maybe.
Even if he is a putz over all, making it a very bad place to be, may help keep people out of his jail.
I know someone (a former friemd) who was in and out of prison for many years and was trying to stay out, but then finally commited a stupid crime so he could go back because being inside was much easier. That isn't any good.
Arpaio probably is not racist, he probably rounds up Mexicans because that is popular. If it was me, I would concentrate on rounding up the French, so I hate to judge his bigotry too harshly. No, I'm kidding. Oh, not about rounding up the French.
I know him from TV docs and interviews, I stopped watching or reading or listening to any news the second day after Ford's death.
It was the 6th day the lead story was going to be about Tom Cruise's wife's pregancy, but it dropped to second because of the ex veep's death.

I think most people have more problems with HOW he does what he does, rather than what he's doing. Illegals are a problem. A BIG problem in border states like AZ and TX. Still that's just the tip of the iceberg with this guy. He a bully with a badge. He's 77 years old. Time for him to walk off into the sunset and enjoy what time he has left. The worst thing any law enforcement person can do it abuse of his badge. This guy has a long record of that kind of abuse. That sends the wrong message about law enforcement in general and in AZ in particular. This rest of the country got to be asking how those living in AZ tolerate this jerk and why they keep voting for him. Its a bad reflection and right now with the goofy bitchy governer there and some wacko laws, AZ isn't looking good.

If he acted this way in a prison would you hate him because I think it is good how awful he keeps the conditions.
