Arpaio is a good American and Sheriff, and one that the people of his county elected and reelected to enforce their laws and protect them.

That Arpaio does his duty so well that he shames other elected officials is their defect not his.

He is one of the most disgusting human beings on the planet. He is vial and cruel. There is nothing wrong with doing your job but play by the rules. I hope he dies before he can run again to be sheriff.

Hello! That's the way it's suppose to be. The Sheriff's doing the job he was elected to do - and thus far he's done a great job if you eliminate the Obama political and all Joe's negative campaign crap Joe's dealing with... If Arizona residents want more Correctional Officers - State Taxes must be raised to cover the expense.... can't have more officers without raising taxes....

You know brilliant people sometimes do stupid things - and stupid people sometimes do brilliant things - I get that. So, if you don't have any more room in your heart to continue hating someone as dedicated as JOE ARPAIO - then don't do stupid criminal acts that will send you to Joe's Hell Hotel - it's that easy. Also, just because Joe's inmate population may be comprised of minorities - it was not Joe who convicted these criminal inmates - a judge made that decision in court - not Joe. And the composition of Joe's inmate population does not make Joe an automatic racist.

For the repeat offenders still out there using and abusing - I dumped pot, alcohol and coke 20 years ago and haven't used since. Guess what? It's very strange but all the sudden I don't get busted anymore, weird? No it's not weird - not at all. How stupid was I to thi...

AND you won't have to shake hand's with Joe, whom I find to be a fine person doing a very difficult trying to please everyone on a limited budget - it can't be done.

Sorry, didn't mean to lecture I was simply sharing something that worked for me (and me only) in hopes it might help repeat offenders from going back to Joe's Hell Hotel. BTW: I'm a combat vet, 25 year homeowner and retired 20 year contractor back in 2009, with 3 grown daughters and 6 grandchildren, married April 1969 to the same lady. It's been a rough and bumpy road. AND If you want good things to happen in your life - you gotta give up bad things. The balance of life prohibits from living a double life of doing bad and wanting only good things life has to offer.... simply put... it can't be done. It cannot be done and the rise in statewide inmate population proves my point ..... stop the bad stuff.

I'm afraid all the attention he's getting may have gone to his head. Abuse is never acceptable, and there are just too many reports for them all to be sour grapes.

I also can't see how trying to prove Obama is ineligible to be President has anything to do with being Sheriff of Maricopa County.

I love the pink jump suits and tents and his tough-on-crime stance. But he's got to play by the rules too.

After sending one of his men to Hawaii to find out about Obama's birth certificate, he has withdrawn his claim that it's a fake. So, he owes the President an apology. So far, he hasn't been man enough to proffer one. And I'm still waiting for Trump to reveal all the "serious and troubling stuff" he claimed his people were digging up. So far, he hasn't been man enough to proffer it.

Love Sheriff Joe. They hate him because he is doing the job the government won't do. I do think this demonization of him is due to perception that his actions with regard to immigration will further weaken the political coalition of Democrats much like the loss of force unionization of public employees did in Wisconsin. It is about power. If you threaten their power, they will try to destroy you.

I will just be like the rest who "hate" Obama. I don't hate him I just hate his policies and the wasting of tax dollars on a wild goose chase for what? Clear conscience? He was doing fine when he just controlled the prisons by instituting the chain gang and tent cities but after all the celebrity status he got greedy with power and is abusing it.

So no I don't "hate" him.
