Why 44% Can't Name President Obama's Religion?

It's tough to tell when a pathological liar is telling the truth.

He can't even decide what religion to pander to...Barry is a Christian, Barrack is a Muslim, every one of his aliases is a different religion...he attends The Church of Goldman Sachs and Corporatist Global Domination.

They are stupid? His religious standing was of heavy press coverage during his election.

I am not sure that Obama knows what religion he is, it depends on who's vote he is trying to get for the day.

I know he used to be a member of the United Church of Christ. Don't know if he joined another church or not and it doesn't matter to me. He is a Christian.

I don't care what color you are, who you sleep with, what gender you claim or what God you worship. I care about how you envision the future of my country. I care about how you respect the Constitution of the United States of America. I care whether you are honest, dependable and have integrity! I want someone who feels less government intervention is the answer to most problems. Allow people to deal with more instead of coddling them and preventing anyone from feeling the impact of their decisions. I want someone to return our government to its original scope and limits. Get rid of every agency that is not within the original framed scope of the federal government. Slowly phase them out til we are lean and mean! The taxes we pay could to more for the whole population than people could even imagine.

His religious views lean toward Islam. He does not practice Christian values. He goes with whatever way will help his re-election.

Obama has MOCKED the Bible and has called the Quaran "HOLY" saying that the "muslim call to prayer is the prettiest sound on earth". Obama IS a Muslim.

Because most of the 44% do not really care about his religion as a Christian, they actually would rather pretend he is a muslim in an effort to find fault with everything he does to justify their hatred since we have been at war with Islamic nations for the last 10 years

He caters to Muslims. Example: He cancelled the White House National Day of Prayer and then knelt down and prayed with Muslims.

he never canceled anything. there is NO national day of prayer anymore than there is a National day of hotdogs or a national day of cupcakes.

Who's pretending? OBAMA is! President Obama is the one who has spoken and shown what he believes. Hatred is pretty extreme word. That's not true. Most americans have a genuine concern for this country, and should be allowed to agree as well as disagree. Yes, there probaby are some knuckleheads, however, as I've said before, I seen and heard meaness on both sides.

I knew that he was a Christian of some denomination other than Catholic, Mormon, or Jehovah's Witness, but I could not have told you specifically which denomination.

The reason many people are confused, though, is that there are those on the far right who have waged an ongoing campaign to dismiss his Christian faith and push the idea that he is a secret Muslim.

Truly, I don't care. I wish we could have a president with no stated religion, but Americans seem to be in love with some pipe dream of a pious president. I truly don't get it.

Because it's confusing. The "Christian" church he went to for 20 years is nothing like the Christian church he is supposedly going to now.
